Earlier today an unusual number of Interspace Commerce Shipping Vessels was targeted by Both Hogosha and Kusar Farmers Alliance.

In response The Interspace Executives Board have decided to Call closure on the Loans to Kusari Workers and Farmers to compensate for the amount of lost Cargo and Ships.

Estimations suggest that between 50-100 thousand families will feel this decision on their economy extremly
hard, and projections will suggest that many of these will not economically survive the year.

Interspace officials had this comment:

We are simple buisness men that try to stay out of the politics of the different houses by provideing our shipping services to any and all who wish it.

It is unfortunate that those that have debt to interspace are the ones who have to pay the price for the actions of terrorists and unreasonable criminals, but we cannto survive as a company if we allow these expenses to keep getting higher and higher because of these violent outbreaks along the routes we use to ferry the goods.

The Expenses have estimated in hundreds of millions and such an amount of money is not something we can afford to pass by.

We apologize for the consequences that the Farmers alliance and Hogosha are responsible for, and hopefully the situation will clear up soon.

Interspace will in the mean time suspend most of its shipping services into Kusari space until further notice.

The Kusari government announced today, that in response to the recent moves by Interspace Commerce it will be providing financial assistance to Kusari citizen's who were effected by the Interspace decision. Speaking to reporters earlier, Ken Taiabi, an Imperial Economic adviser said, "We will be making low interest loans to any and all Kusari citizens effected by this irrational move by Interspace. Once again, we see Interspace Commerce, forcing themselves into the economy of Kusari, attempting to create a vacuum in their services and awaiting Kusari to ask them to return. The Emperor has made it clear, if Interspace does not wish to do business in Kusari, we have no desire to have them here. That does not mean that they are absolved of their legal contractual obligations. The Emperor has directed the office of Legal Affairs to examine the possibilities of filing suit against Interspace, seeking financial restitution... remember, Interspace has a large piece of real valuable real estate sitting in orbit of New Tokyo. I am sure any company would be more then generous in making offers for this piece of real estate."

Takayuki Maeda, Kusari Associate of Lancelot Bank, has made it known that his team will be extending lowered interest rates to the citizens of Kusari given the additional liquidity provided by the Kusari government. At a press conference this afternoon Mr Maeda made the following statement:

"These sudden turns of events show an utter disregard by the powers that be, as to the lives of ordinary citizens, but furthermore to the stability of the Sirius economy. However reprehensible Interspace Commerce's unnecessarily sudden actions may have been I also feel it important to highlight the inbalance that the Kusari government's actions will have in the credit markets. The threats to abscond with property also raises serious issues to any foreign investors who may wish to take an interest in Kusari in future. Such draconian and potentially harsh measures only cultivates a business atmosphere lacking confidence which is not what the Kusari economy needs in the coming months.

Yet returning to Interspace's actions, they were rather too sudden. A slow withdrawl of credit may have been more understandable and appropriate given what is at stake. I would urge the Kusari government and IC to come to some compromise as they will lose much more by not working together. I hope that pride is not an issue for either side.

I'd also like to add that I do believe the business of good government is complex, and if this is the goal that Kusari has, then perhaps there is more than meets the eye. Whatever the case, Lancelot Bank will do its best to serve the citizens of Kusari. It may be a time of austerity but we are all in the same boat, and hope not to disgrace our ancestors' efforts to make Kusari the uniquely cultural and cohesive house that it is today."

Good evening

In the light of recent events and a possible misunderstanding of our decision by government interests we wish to clarify on this matter so it does not lead to unneccesary actions by both sides.

It is only our Shipping Insurances and shipping services into Kusari that is suspended for the time being.

We are not forefitting our legal contracts with any of the corporations or companies in Kusari, the loans that many citizens have with interspace and a low interest rate will only be slightly elevated due to the enormous expenses these terrorists are responsible for.

Yet we are forced to cash in from many of the loans in Kusari to cover the expenses, There are many ways to do this we however chose to do it so it affects the least amount of the people in Kusari, we can broaden the amount that have to pay in a certain sum to lessen the stress on people but that will affect millions of Citizens instead of thousands.

We are open to Cooperation with the Kusari government regarding a compromise or a full solution to the problem as we do not wish to cut our dealings in Kusari however we have a responsibility to lives of the crewmen and captains of our shipping vessels and a financial obligation to cut losses given the economic pressure the Liberty-Rheinland and Bretonia-Kusari conflict are produceing.
