Name: Wolfe, Sebastian
Age: Unknown
Family:
Mother: Emilia Schultz Wolfe
Father: Siegfried Alvareiz Wolfe

History:
First records of Sebastian relate back to his father, one Siegfried Wolfe, who served in the Rheinland Military during the Nomad war. Originally a proud member of the Rheinwehr, Siegfried became disillusioned with the hardline military doctrine adapted as a result of the 'infestation', and decided to defect to Liberty, with his wife and Sebastian.

After faking his death, Siegfried used the family's savings to book passage on a transport officially bound for the Bremen system, but was actually going to attempt to seek asylum in Liberty. The vessel made it past the patrols, and managed to navigate New Hampshire without being spotted.

However, a patrol from the Alma quickly detected the transport within Quebec, and they were forced to dock at the Alma while their plea of asylum was considered. During that time, the 1,400 people aboard were put to work aboard the Alma, and this is where Sebastian discovered his inherent love for electronics, programming and installing several systems on the Alma, including an advanced rationing regulator and the ship's current AI assistant.

Once asylum was granted for Sebastian and his family, they moved to Erie to start a new life away from the borders of Liberty, so as to not worry about military conflict. Siegfried is now a part-time civilain flight instructor, and Emilia is a researcher for advanced agricultural practices.

Sebastian, however, did not like the idea of being left 'out of the loop', and once graduated from the flight academy, chose to join the LSF until such a time that he could gain enough money to journey elsewhere. After one day, however, he received a large donation from an unknown source, and made his way among Sirius in a recently purchased Kingfisher.

His travels eventually led him to Tau-23, whereupon he was caught by several Remnant vessels trying to enter Tau-44, as he did not know of the restrictions on the system at the time. Impressed by their ship designs and by their dedication to defend Tau-23, he decided to file an application for joining the faction, and shortly thereafter was granted Blue-2, one of their training ships.

He flew Blue-2 with pride, and took part in several operations within 23, some more successful than others. When it came time to get his own ship, he designated it Schnee, after the callsign his father had used in the Rheinwehr. He was also granted use of a Pytho bomber, which he designated Silber, as it was a callsign his father had mentioned many times in stories about his flying days. Since Silber required two pilots, he created a basic AI program called Thunderhead to take the second seat.

Thunderhead's creation rekindled his long-dormant passion for AI programming, and he soon set out purchasing a freighter for mining operations to gain cash for a ship which he could use as a test-bed for his AI programming. After several successful runs, he wrote to the Liberty Navy, commissioning a Gunboat-class vessel with armaments, to see if he could get it operating with only a single-man crew. They agreed, and the project was an eventual success. He operated this gunboat, designated the Wolfcrest, as a full-fledged member of the Liberty Navy's Secondary fleet, even undertaking hostage negotiations within Alaska.

It was here that he first met the threat that was the Nomads.

Although his gunboat was a large enough vessel to not be overly challenged by their wings, he was still taken by surprise at these creatures. However, merely being close to them had given him severe headaches and impared his vision, which was risky enough at the best of times, and he decided to do something about it. He outfitted his mining transport, which was at the time a Train, to remotely operate the Wolfcrest, though doing so took all the power the ship's core could put out, meaning it had to be grounded at the time. The vessel was always within range, as he used it to mine Iridium in Kansas.

When he encountered a NTF member in Kansas, however, this changed. He was told to cease mining in Kansas, and find another source of income. He contemplated Tau-23, but this meant the remote link to the Wolfcrest would no longer work, so he left the gear on Freeport 4 and headed to Tau-23.

Mining in Tau-23 proved to be a fruitless endeavour, taking far too much time and yielding lesser results to his liking, so he left for Omega-7, it being a shorter commute. There, he struck a deal with one Lillith Pensworth of the Lil' Miner, agreeing to ship her ore in exchange for some of the profits.

This left a problem, however. The Wolfcrest was now effectively grounded, as he had to travel to Freeport 4 to use the gear, which was a pain. That was when he got the idea for Research Project #74.

Simply put, Research Project #74 is an attempt to create an AI based off of brainwave patterns, effectively making an AI duplicate of the person in question. Getting the equipment for the brain scan was easy, converting the scan proved to be the most challenging aspect, and even if he could get it done, he still needed somewhere to put it.

After much thought, he decided that a Hackers gunboat would be the best place to mount such an AI unit, and put out a bounty for any Hacker gunboat pieces that could be salvaged (Bounty Board entry).

Because of this, the IMG learnt of his setup on Freeport 4, and as it was in breach of the Curaco convention, asked for it to be removed. Sebastian did so, replacing the uplink unit with a basic AI unit, which operates the Wolfcrest to this day.
