RSS News Feed: After some recent events, the whole organization was subjected to a profound change. The faction is rarely seen in the Omicrons anymore, their main base, an experimental battleship, the Terminus was seen to leave the docks on Evora and engage some sort of jump drive. The direction or the current locaiton of the Terminus is unknown.

Cerberus is the codename for a black ops organization that was part of the Order before going rogue. Cerberus has since evolved into a human-survivalist paramilitary group led by a well known Bretonian, many know him just as The Colonel, few know him as Jack Aubrey. Cerberus' core belief is that humanity is under costant threat from possible alien species and that the Order is to hamstrung by law and public opinion to truly act against these dangerous foes. For Cerberus, any method of advancing humanities ascension are justified, including illegal or dangerous experimentation, terrorist activities, sabotage and assassination. Cerberus operatives accept that these methods are brutal, but they know that if they want to save humanity they are forced to use these methods. Cerberus has many operatives planted throughout Sirius, which includes House space, who regularly report back to Jack Aubrey. Due to our very large network of contacts, we effectively have access to most systems, major trade stops, and colonies in Sirius. However, Cerberus has no knowledge of the political climate in Gallia, thus rendering Cerberus blind in the Gallia systems. Cerberus is very well-funded with several unnamed suppliers and contributors within the Bretonian military-industrial complex contributing credits and resources to Cerberus, trusting Jack Aubrey will make the right decisions. Cerberus also owns several front corporations which further fund and support their operations. Classified financial records indicate that Cerberus has a reliable income stream of several billion credits per year. Communication throughout Cerberus sometimes takes the form of steganographic messages embedded within extranet broadcasts. These messages can range from ship movement orders or instructions to financiers to direct funds to their main cell. Unfortunately this method of communication was recently compromised by the Liberty Security Force. Cerberus has obtained quantum-entanglement communicators with one such device already installed onboard the Terminus to give Col. Aubrey a more secure, direct means of communication with the many Cerberus operatives across Sirius. Cerberus is known to only recruit highly skilled Order pilots to maintain their elite force, their bomber wing, also called the Shock Wing, is a force to be reckoned with.

Their current headquarters are on a highly advanced battleship, the Terminus.The ship recently disappeared from the Omicrons, and possibly from the Edge Nebula, destination unknown on their current location. But one thing is certain, Cerberus isn't dead.

Cerberus was founded by a an ex-Bretonian Armed Forces officer, Col. Jack Aubrey in close collaboration with a rogue Deep Space Engineering researcher named Dave Synk. Jack Aubrey left the Armed Forces during the attack on Cambridge at the hands of the Phantoms when a MOX warhead was deliberatly dropped on the planet's main settlement, Brighton. Jack in a matter of seconds lost his parents and his friends. He decided to leave Bretonia forever to seek revenge against those who took everything away from him.

He founded Cerberus some months later with the help of an ex-researcher of DSE, Dave Synk, and with the help of two former Order pilots, Elijah Jurgen and Justin Cheezcat.

The most famous event that involved Cerberus directly was during the Liberty Navy's punitive assault on the Order. Cerberus fought side by side with their former allies to keep the Navy away from planet Toledo. They managed to survive the Navy's onslaught but they suffered a great loss.

Another event that is memorable enough is of course when the Outcasts invaded Minor with heavy warships after an assault in Omicron Gamma. The Order wasn't there when they were needed, but Cerberus and a former Order cell known as the TCG caught the outcasts in a crossfire and pushed them out from Minor while suffering very little damage.

Many Order agents reported that they saw the Terminus, Cerberus' flagship to engage a sort of device that produced a sort of white flare around the warship, then a huge blast was heard and the ship was gone, somebody said that they used a jump drive. But this isn't confirmed. Their destination or current location is unknown.

Cerberus is divided into numerous cells, also called sections, which have no knowledge of their counterparts. This ensures that should one cell be compromised, the others would not be compromised. Each cell is led by an operative who reports directly to Col. Aubrey. Cerberus is made up of many sections or wings, the shock wing, the support wing, the research division and the main wing, but the most famous cell is the elite wing of Cerberus.

As of 818, Cerberus consists of 450 operatives organized into five cells. Jack Aubrey oversees all projects carried out by the cells personally and consequently, there are can be upwards of a dozen projects active at one time.

The Assault Wing

While the goal of Support Wing is to fend-off any kind of threat to the shock wing's bombers, the assault wing's goal is to defend the main warships of Cerberus against enemy bombers. They usually concentrate all on a target and take it out in a matter of seconds.

The Shock Wing

The Shock Wing is the cell in which bomber class vessels are the only force. Their pilots are highly trained and experienced in battle, they are also known to be remarkably calm during a fight even when they are completely outgunned and outnumbered.

The Punitive Squadron

The punitive squadron is the active capital ship fleet of Cerberus. The squadron is acting only on high risk missions and during possible encounters with enemy capital ships is highly probable. The squadron is also formed by the top ranking members who have access to the most devastating weaponry across Sirius.

The Terminus is in charge of coordinating all the other warships.

The Elite Wing

The N7, or Section 7 is a highly trained group of pilots, mainly the elite of Cerberus. Little is known about this section.

They are based on the Terminus.

The Research Wing

The research wing is lead by the well known xenoarcheologist and quantum physicyst, David Synk, the job of this section is research. All forms of research from new weapons, new shields, new armors, space anomalies or other related research are the domain of this section.

Bastet 042A The Order Very Heavy Fighter


Even within the Order rare sightings of the Bastet are cause for rumor and speculation. A limited production testbed model plays host to the wild imaginings and engineering sorcery of some of the most potent creative minds of Sirius, when one is put to the field for some practical 'runs' the results are as violent as they are spellbinding.

Nephthys 015A The Order Very Heavy Fighter


Orillion's Corps of Engineers latest development, Nephthys is a vastly improved Anubis. During the Nomad war, Anubis proved to be a reliable ship, but its armor and weaponry were outclassed by alien enemies. Many skilled pilots of The Order were killed in unequal fights, and weakening of the organization lead to doubtful alliance with Corsairs. Using a Titan power array, Order engineers constructed the Nephthys, one of the heaviest and most powerful fighters ever seen in Sirius.


Sekhmet 019A The Order Bomber


When the Bounty Hunters Guild focused it's capital fleet on the Omicron systems, the Order needed a bomber that was both capable of fending off these attackers and efficiently engineered due to the Order's limited resources. The Sekhmet represents the pinnacle of Order engineering and allows the Order to deal heavy damage to attacking capital ships at minimal risk.

Hathor The Order Gunboat


When the Zoners constructed their gunboat, a more offensive variant prototype was developed at the same time. This design was then secretly shared with the Order, who then developed plans for large scale construction. Thus was birthed the Hathor. Acting mainly as an anti-fighter/bomber ship, this successful class rapidly became the most produced capital class vessel in the Order. With an advanced reactor and superior targeting system, the Hathor has superior firepower, to meet the needs of its intended role: to reduce any hostile scouts trying to penetrate Order territory to their core, flaming, components.

Developed on the Terminus, this is a highly advanced version of the Bastet. Little is known about this model.

Resheph The Order/Cerberus Reconnaissance Cruiser


Though being an organization possessing awe inspiring means of destruction, the Order's primary purpose has always been one of vigilance. Working under the philosophy that the best war is won before it begins, the Resheph was commissioned.

Possessing scanning technology of dizzying sophistication, rumored to be able to create tunnels through which distant stars can be scanned in real time, in a frame capable of incredible feats of stealth with evasive technology capable of ferrying it safely from the grimmest encounters.

NOTE: "Geb" Light Carrier and "Osiris" Battleship class vessels are LIMITED to high ranking members only.

2nd Lieutenant (2nd Lt.)/Ensign (Ens) Squad members: Junior officers in Cerberus with Ensign being the lowest rank. Only allowed to fly fighters/bombers. Not allowed to use codenames. Nomad technology allowed after being in Cerberus two weeks and officially requesting them on Cerberus forums.


1st Lieutenant (1st Lt.) Section Leaders (101st/102nd): Support/Escort/Shock Wings section leaders have 3 squad members that directly report to them. The Section leaders report directly to their respective Division Leader. Allowed ships are Hathor gunboat and below. All weapon types allowed. Codenames must be purchased and not allowed to be used on trial basis. May be returned or exchanged at 60% of original purchase price.


Lieutenant Commander (Lt. Cdr) Division Leaders: Support Wing/Escort Wing/Shock Wing division leaders answer directly to their respective Wing Commanders. They are directly in charge of 2 section leaders. Allowed ships of Resheph and below. All weapon types allowed. May not use codenames on a trial basis. Must purchase the use of all codenames. May be returned or exchanged at 75% of original purchase price.


Major (Maj) Support Wing/Escort Wing/Shock Wing Commanders: The 3 Majors are in charge of their respective wings and answer directly to the Wing Commander. They are considered Senior officers and are part of the senior leadership of Cerberus. Allowed ships of Geb class and below. All weapon types are allowed. Codenames may be used on a trial basis of 1 week. Then must be purchased or returned.



Commander (Cdr)Wing Commander: Third highest ranking officer in Cerberus. The 3 Wing Commanders directly report to the Wing Commander. Allowed Ships of Geb class and below. All weapon types allowed. May use codenames on trial basis for two weeks. Then must be purchased or returned.


Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col) Executive Officer: He is the second highest ranking officer in Cerberus. Allowed ships of Geb Class and below. Use of all weapons allowed. May use codenames on trial basis for 4 weeks. Then must be purchased or returned.


Colonel (Col) Commanding Officer: Only rank allowed for the Osiris. Allowed use of all codenames and all ship types. Does not have to purchase codenames and may be used and switched out at his leisure.
