Hola everyone,
Some think I'm a bad cardie addicted person.
But I'll tell yo' that ain't true.
Okay, I still sniff but I promised myself not to touch that stuff again.
It's quite hard, way much harder then I expected.
After a while I figured out I wasn't addicted to cardie, I was addicted to sniffing.
I started doing some research of how this could be.
Since it's not the first thing you would expect to get addicted on.
After some days in the Library I found this information about some guy,
Here I'll transmit a link from the library, just wish no one will find out that I send this.
Soh, I read it through, I came across some very interesting facts,
- He is a saint.
- He loved children
- He could sail
- He had many helpers called 'Pieten'
- He knows what nice candy is.
- He is the basis of the mythical holiday figure of Santa Claus
The last fact made me fall of my chair.
I really thought it couldn't be true.
I asked the assisted at the library; she said that is could be true but she was rather stunned by herself.
Now you might be wondering why in 'Earths' name I would be broadcasting this.
Well it's pretty simple.
I sniffed up some crushed cookies, since cookies have replaced the good old cardie.
But it seems this so called 'Sinterklaas' had these so called 'kruidnoten', kinda small cookies.
'Kruidnoten' are small, round ginger bread-like cookies.
Ad least that's what the story said.
I would like to try out these things,
although I was unable to get the recipe and neither could I found them in the normal shops
If anyone out there know the recipe I would like you to contact me,
And if you know more about this so called 'Sinterklaas' or 'Saint Nicholas' then I beg you contact me.
A few more intruding facts,
The story said that 5 December is 'Saint Nicholas Day'.
And now the scary part,
It seems there is also a bad kind of 'Saint Nicholas' of some sort.
Don't know much about it, but at some point on his birthday and it's full moon,
which happens to be on Manhattan at 5 December then, yes then he will turn ugly.
Rumors said he would murder children and kill people and all to take revenge for,
all the stupid presents he has to bring to all the doors each year.
But that doesn't really matter,
I'm only looking for the recipe of these kinda ginger cookies so called 'Kruidnoten'
So if you have an answer, then I beg you, respond to me desperate call for help.
my kinda regards,
Carlos Franco
