Greetings. I'm Greg Matthews, leader of the Neo-Terran Front.
I realize the very mention of the NTF is going to raise some eyebrows. I know you've heard all the horror stories about us: "The Scourge of Kansas", "Miner's Funeral", and so forth. So in hindsight, it is understandable (albeit incorrect and still quite regrettable) that the BAF field commander would presume our hostility during that chaotic melee in Omega-3. I also understand Rheinland Military forces were bound by treaty to assist them, rather than out of any direct animosity towards us. (In any case, no harm no foul.)
I should point out, however, that a good deal of our negative reputation is undeserved. We successfully held Kansas from Liberty Navy attackers for roughly a year, with little support to speak of I might add. More recently, we've been pretty successful against the Corsairs in the Omegas, so our battle record should speak for itself.
The part about us being bloodthirsty marauding pirates? That's LSF propaganda, and a gross misrepresentation of our efforts to secure our base in Kansas.
You may not know this, but the NTF began as an LSF sleeper ship project; it was a secret last-ditch escape route in case the squids came back with a vengeance. Before his assassination, Bosch told me it became politically unfavorable due to the costs involved. As a result, a few of our members are ex-LSF; and although that number has by now dwindled to just under a dozen (counting the janitor), the LSF proper is still (quietly) trying to capture or kill members of the Neo-Terran movement, while painting us as dangerous terrorists. Dangerous we are indeed, but not terrorists.
This is the main reason I've encrypted this message as heavily as I have. In exchange for legal asylum, and of course, the standard commission per kill, I would like to offer Rheinland the Neo-Terran Front's services as mercenaries against Liberty and, in the unlikely event it's necessary, a Corsair incursion. I would also like to offer (at no additional charge) information we have gathered in our travels around and outside of Sirius, including what remaining LSF files we have.
This information... ranges in quality. Some of our files have been lost or degraded over time; in part due to battle damage, and in large part due to the loss of our science vessel Hinton and our base in Kansas. (We have since replaced the ship, but we can't retrieve the lost data any more than we can resurrect Roger Bakewell and his crew.) Also, most of the LSF files and encryption codes we still have are a couple years out of date, but you never know with things like this. It can always come in handy.
Please reply on this frequency, and with the appropriate safeguards.
