[color=#000000]It is official. All volunteers as well as designated personnel of the 88th task force are to report to the IMG station Freistadt.

An international mission is assembling. Its goal is the suppression and eventual destruction of an IMG extremist group which by its behavior threatens AGAIN the political stability of the system - and by extension, the IMG's (therefore our) interests. The operation is oriented on IMG personnel only, the objective is to suppress any and all anti-government and anti-Rhineland dissent by force. In this mission, all personnel will act in the official guild's name and on its authority.

The enemy is a group of obstinate radicals attempting to liberate the upper Omegas out of house corporate hands. They do not identify themselves as a named group. Therefore they are not distinguishable from normal, innocent independents. Intelligence suggests, that their numbers equal a single carrier group at 30% strength.

Proceed cautiously, this is not a CR mission, nevertheless authorized and supported by the SCAF and NCA. You act in the IMG's name, but for the benefit of both them and yourselves. Good hunting.

As you may know, we are recently receiving replacements at an increased rate (At least compared to the complete stagnation only two months ago). Don't be fooled however, the situation is by no means perfect. As an open society, we are expected to be a magnet for refugees, criminals, drifters and the like... In other words HQ plain blunt expects everyone on the below list to do their part to make our ranks swell. We have a considerable number of MIA servicemen, two resignations and while the four new arrivals do make up for that... It's the result of a deliberate and intensive recruiting effort.

DO YOUR PART

The not-so-much debated comm frequency reform is now in effect. All non-classified official military reporting activity and HQ announcements are to be handled through this channel exclusively. Further elements of the reform concerning strictly military matters include:
- Reporting of all military actions is strongly encouraged and to be done using EITHER the template provided at the post's bottom OR an approved template already in use by a specific Fleet member.
- Activity probation will no longer be conducted via roll calls, but by spontaneous skype-based questioning, augmented by timing these questionings and noting them down below.
- This thread is meant for military AARs -only-
- In case of further questions, address either of the general staff members.

We just had a moderately big fight withem maltards for the last 45-ish minutes. We received a scramble call at 1613 hours indicating over half a dozen smalls hopping around Java, I came over to find just one other CR and maybe 5 IMG levies in various ships (two H-boots) fighting a real darn swarm. It was hectic, but I made out one Storta, two tridents, one bomber and call it 6 or 7 sabres. Including an obvious squidface (unmistakable nomad gun sound). We got maybe 3 or 4 of them, but ultimately all got shot down, mainly by that [CENSORED]of a[CENSORED] razorboat.

This bites. There's just too many Maltard sympathizers out there. Appealing to live twice the normal span, be immune to disease, Have some better reflexes, automatic anti-conception... Well they can still BLEED!

Speaking of which, I'm kinda behind schedule on my war crimes, anyone got a few POWs to spare?

Skalski out.

Lieutenant Danny Wright steps slowly into the CIC room, it as he is dizzy.
The monitors' light reflects on the fresh silvery stitches on his forehead -
his hair is messy and his eyes half-shut, yet he still hands over his
report, handwritten on paper and full of pale yellow stains...

He stops at the entrance and checks his military-grade clock, old and dirty and completely fitting
his appearance. It shows exactly:

"Man, how long have I been out!"

Quote:
Me, Lt. Danny Wright, took part in the SCRA combined operation, as ordered, that went relatively good and was considered a tactical victory.

Our first objective was to wait for Coalition's forces' arrival. They were to bring monsterous bomber squads, that forward into the battle additionally boosted our forces' morale.

Pre-battle.
Yet, shortly before their arrival we received a distress signal calling for help and unveiling the presence of outcasts, consisting of fighters, in the mining fields. Our command immediately dispatched us to deal with the threat.

In the fields, we encountered two fighters, countered by four Vipers. Not much further until additional boogies arrived, but by that time we had managed to secure mining equipment, vessels and their cargo. Then, the fight came to a stalemate. In the meanwhile, the combined Coalition-Colonial force began it's advance and jumped into Tau-37.

There we were to drag the hostiles to the rest's position in T-37. Once we arrived, the fight began to strafe towards Omicron Alpha. Colonial Vipers and most of the Outcast smalls deadlocked into battle, distracting the aforementioned and allowing SCRA's Troll squads to take on several capitals untroubled, both in Tau-37 and Omicron Alpha.

The Battle of Tau-37.
At the very beginning Cpt. Vaught was forced to eject - from this moment I became the main target, chased by most of the swarm almost until our retreat. The dogfight was fierce, but I was relentless, dodging plasma bursts
and missiles alike while, at the same time, attacking marked targets. Though our success was little less than usual, we managed to disable several fighters, one of them I destroyed personally.
(My guncams have been lost with my ship, though.)

Tactical retreat and battle of Tau-23.
With SCRA squads falling behind us, everything was going according to plan. We managed to break from the battle and head towards Java station. We were pursued by outnumbering forces, yet we had already completed our objective. As we jumped into the system, I informed civilians of the incoming threat and then headed to Java. After the jump though, I ascertained that the damage I had suffered has taken it's toll - busted comm device and flight controls. As I was heading to dock at Java, I saw civilians and mining ships still in open space, I also saw an officer, a Captain I think, rushing to hold the Outcast swarm. I joined in lend a hand, which was probably a mistake, but there were still civilians out there that needed our protection! Apparently an order to dock was given, yet I didn't receive it and understood that only by seeing most of our Vipers heading for emergency docking, so I broke and tried the same. Yet, my tail managed to get a shot on my ship while I was trying to dock and I ejected over the sight of burning debris.

I woke up in Java's sickbay, where I got 20 stitches and lots of scratches treated, nothing too serious for a soldier of our caliber.
The doctor insisted I took some rest for a few days, but said I'm in condition fit for flying.
So I won't overthink it and sign myself up for a morning patrol as soon as I am issued a ship.

P.S. I'm feeling pretty exhausted at the moment, but I wanted to handle the report ASAP. Therefore,
I have missed some numbers and factology. I am sure, though, that they were reported with accuracy by our high-ranked officers who were leading and overseeing the operation.
Morning Sortie

His head is still bandaged, yet he's flying again.

Good day, Commander, I'm coming to report straight from the docking bay; This morning, me and Lieutenant Wolfe were up to the task of doing a thorough patrol of the Tau-23 system. We began with a pass to let our board computers do a quick scan. Afterwards, Wolfe went on to scan the edges of the system while I was blocking the pass to Tau-37, where I disabled several rookies. The good news is no tangos have been detected and, on the other hand, mining operations were progressing.

A bright spot on the otherwise bleak picture, a unit under my command managed to actually pull off a successful raid behind enemy lines, inflict considerable casualties and return to base unharmed.

Initially the unit was composed of myself and Lieutenant Wright, with Lieutenant Strife lagging behind due to maintenance difficulties. We crossed the enemy lines unnoticed and began searching for a suitable target. We encountered a storta-class escorted by a single Trident cruising from the west towards Valetta and swinging into a geostationary orbit near Malta's docking facilities. Upon closer inspection it turned out, that the latter had virtually no armor upgrade installed. By that time, we were reinforced by the arrival of one mercenary bomber pilot named Eva Mendez. We attacked and destroyed the gunboat quickly. One AC discharge was enough. While we were busy tackling the normally-equipped destroyer, another (also unarmored) trident appeared and shared the same fate as the previous one. That is when the situation's balance started deteriorating. A Sabre appeared and interfered with our engaging of the destroyer considerably. To make things worse, the MNS Monty, a ranseur-class joined the fight. Fortunately I managed to land a killing razor hit on the fighter while the arrival of Lieutenant Strife's bomber and one independent IMG bomber named Hail once again caused a 180 degrees turnaround. The destroyer was finally disposed of as well as another newly-arrived Sabre. The three bombers would continue firing at the ranseur until it finally was destroyed. By that time, somewhat belatedly, Castor, one of the BSG retired veterans also arrived and managed to participate in the destruction of one more storta-class before I definitely ordered a retreat. I judged, that staying any longer would be pulling our luck. Already sensors were picking up heightened enemy comms traffic planetside. We jumped to Tau37 unpursued, proceeded to Java and landed.

To summarize, executed raid behind enemy lines. Enemy casualties totaled two fighters two gunboats, two cruisers and a battleship. Friendly forces consisted in total of three fighters and three bombers. No casualties sustained.

As a side note, I took the liberty of notifying Java's administrator of an imminent counterattack. It is fairly obvious, that in light of the several recent battles in which the Outcasts would emerge superior in nearly all conceivable aspects - this action would be a humiliation. One not taken lightly or to be left unanswered. By the time the said answer would arrive however, Java should be ready.

Signed, Lieutenant Dix "Sturmvogel" Hauser

Good day Admiral. I am coming with my latest report for our patrol mission'€¦
I was accompanied from ensign Zytahar, our route was the usual one'€¦
First we headed to Freeport 10, I thought we will find something interesting there but unfortunately there was not a single hostile vessel. Then we went to Falkland Base, we met an IMG trader we had little conversation and we headed to Tau-31'€¦ When we arrived we noticed that the system is very quiet so we continued our journey to Tau-29.We went to Freeport 9 and by the time we didn'€™t found any activity in the system so we decided to check Nago station as our final stop. I am glad to say that there were no hostile units.

The mission was successful we returned at Java station unharmed and relieved.

As final information I will give my opinion for our new ensign Zytahar : I think that our new member will be one good soldier'€¦He is very conscientious and he was great company.

Daily Report - Day 1
Author: Recruit Falx

On my first day, several notable events took place, while patrolling the Tau-23 system:

I. A freelancer named Freida.Cole asked me to speak with her on Freeport 10. I went there, where she told me I must send a message to my superiors, regarding important information about the IND. The message was delivered to Adm. Lamont.

II. A certain Foxy'Harty, carrying a Freelancer ID and a Hacker rep was sighted in Tau-23. Several IMG pilots tried to help her change her reputation and after a few attempts, she gained a Junker rep. I then proposed her to blow some OCs out of the sky with me, so that she proves her good intentions, but she refused, so I escorted her out of the system.

III. While escorting the above mentioned, a Blood Dragon ship, belonging to he WK family, was sighted. Shortly after, long range scans revealed that the ship designated WK|PHS-Ikazuki had jumped to the Tau-37 system.

IV. A keeper ship, designated Keepers.Ninlil, was sighted near the Orkney JH. I pursued the nomad until it left the ystem through the Tau-31 JG.

V. I escorted two IMG ships, Dreadhead and IMG|Gorzweiler[M], to the Tau-31 JG, where I attempted to draw the fire away from them, as the BMM outpost attacked us.

VI. An OC Tridente, named Wolf-hound_Ghost was sighted near the Tau-37 JH. I pursued it until it landed on Cali.

VII. A "Spatial" explorer, designated SpeedhoneN was sighted with no ID. I contacted the pilot, who realized he had forgotten his ID in the Java bar and went back to retrieve it.

VIII. I went on a patrol mission with Lt.Holum to the Tau 37, 23, 31 and 29 systems. The patrol was routine, nothing special happened.

IX. A strange Freelancer, calling himself Black Skull, came to Java and started insulting everyone around him, looking for a fight. Being obvious that he was under Cardamine influence, nobody really took him seriously, so he didn't get blown to pieces. He did, however, become a very good target for mockery...

End of report.

Salutations Fleet Admiral,

Our newest carrier, Europa has completed the factory tests and has received the armament. In the last four months, I have chosen the crew for this new Zephyr and we are now ready to command it. Lieutenant Commander Jessica Deladier will be my second in command until she dies or I find someone better. We're eager to take the ship out of Singapore's docks and test it in real combat.

Therefore, I will ask you for permission to begin our missions aboard this ship.

Daily Report - Day 2
Author: Recruit Falx

Day 2 as a recruit was... is... *sigh*
My second day as a recruit ended up with my ship being blown to pieces... But first things first.

Around noon, a cry for help came from a miner near Java. Apparently, a bretonian gunboat, designated The.Trafalgar, Armed Forces tag and privateer ID was demanding credits from an IMG miner. I intervened and told the privateer that he would be considered a pirate and treated as such. Surprisingly, he left on his own. He did, however, issue a threat addressed to the IMG miner. I let him know he would swallow his words if he showed his face in the system again.

Little did I know at that time what awaited me in a few hours.

After the episode above, I docked on Java, for lunch. After I finished, I returned on patrol, to find a CR colonel getting ready to engage an outcast... I'm afraid that, in the heat of things, I did not memorize his name... perhaps my flight logs might hold it...
The colonel and the outcast engaged in a fight and soon, more freelancer and even a BHG battleship gathered around to watch the fight. When the outcast began to retreat towards Cali, everyone jumped in to stop him. I tried to cut him off, only to wake up caught in the base's fire. I realized then that the simple fight would turn into a battle...
Soon enough, more Outcasts arrived and I was caught... the shooting... *pulling himself together*
I was behind an Outcast bomber, trying my best to hit the bastard!... Someone came from behind. Next thing... Red lights in my cockpit... "Hull breach imminent! Activating eject systems." And then I was floating in space and everything was so quiet. In slow motion, I saw the Outcast returning to finish the job. As he was entering weapons range, a colonial Nyx came from behind and I saw the Vampires hitting the enemy ship's hull and then a fireball ...
A ray coming from my saviors Vipers must have hit my escape pod. When I got back at Java, I was barely breathing... The doctors said I was lucky, just 2 more minutes and I'd have had permanent brain damage...
Others weren't so lucky... I saw my friends die... People I had lunch with had their brains splattered on my cockpit window!... *taking a deep breath*
I realize this is not the every-day report a superior get's to read. Perhaps it's a way to cope with it... I only want to get back in the cockpit and resume my training. Only blood can fill the void that this day has created inside me.

End of report.
