"Colonization of the Orion sector has been pushed forward on it's schedule, outpacing original production queues we had originally set. The Hopewell sector, the sector under my control, has established a firm effort to begin rapid deployment of colonies on the compatible worlds we've scouted. Encounter with a few problems were expected, magnetic dust clouds threaten normal Sirius design vessels, we've begun the less-appealing more utility based production on planet to planet crafts.

"For an unexplored sector of space, we've actually encountered what unnerved initial colony scouts. Apparently taken to calling them UFO ships, as silly as it is to call them that, these dark objects are currently being discounted as the inherit flickering of nearby stars as asteroids pass. After all, a lot of the colonists we're relocating are used to the crowding of what used to be fringe worlds in Sirius.

"The only confirmed report of human presence in the Orion sector is a probe satellite from pre-Alliance Coalition warfare from the Sol wars. Production stamps on the battered probe states it was crafted sometime during the year 2020 Anno Domini. We've stripped it down, researched the primitive technology and recorded it's data over into the compilation bank at Freeport Orion 12.

"We've a subsequent data log on the current model of the Viaticum vessel we'll be employing to make use of the Phase Jump engines. Hopefully these models we've worked on for rapid exploration of uncharted sectors will assist in star-to-star jumps. My lieutenant, James Hunter, will be commanding the vessel - he's had the most experience in both First Encounter combat and with his length of service to the Guard, he'll have more than enough respect from the other leaders of the Colonist councils. I will begin relaying all messages to his front in the Heflin subsector. We'll be awaiting your confirmation from Commander Erwin sector's success on beginning their colony establishment. Commodore Helfari, over."

The first stage colony operations of the Atropos subsector have been completed painlessly and ahead of schedule, the Atropos subsector is surprisingly resource rich from the initial prospecting.
The colony on planet Halcyon currently have about 400.000 colonists however during some of the initial surveys we encountered the remains of an alliance weapons testing ground aswell as an abandoned shipyard on the outer reaches of the planets gravity well.

Once the the shipyard have been inspected and brought back to operational status, will further details about it be filed.

Also we have been reading strange ghost signs on the long range scanners, black spots near the sun, asteroid mining crews getting riled up about seeing unknown objects drifting about as if observeing them only to dissappear moments later.
Armed patrols have yet to find any evidence to back up these sightings and reports so for now it will be taken as hearsay and equipment glitches.

On a more important note we have discovered bits and pieces of ancient comm traffic recordings, some of which date back to the very beginning of the Alliance Coalition Wars in Sol.
Along with these recordings were several encrypted files regarding weapons technologies and some important project called NOVALITH which involved mass driver technology but nothing more could be extracted from the badly damaged files.

Along with this status update i will be forwarding specifications and visuals of the ZEFS|Behemoth command carrier for the Atropos sector.

"Data up link is working at eighty percent, the ion storms and magnetic clouds separating our sub-sectors play torture on the comm buoys we've strung back towards Freeport Orion 12. Commodore Helfari has just departed back to Sirius systems. Sadly this parting is ultimately ruined by the insurgency of inner political circles within the Zoners colonies here. This would be the fourth and strongest civil-war style conflict we've seen thus far.

"Four colony worlds have gone dark. Ideological differences on local governments spanning across our systems in the Hopewell sector has effectively left the bulk of Zoners colonists separated into three groupings. We have the Neo Wilde, as the Commodore has named them, who've claimed a small dominion on our farthest colony. This was alarming as we now realize we are very relaxed against Infestation threats from Nomad creatures. We've gotten two core colony systems completely scanned and cleared so far, the cessation group has yet to at least compromise to undergoing an independent survey by our research teams. We'll detail on the Wilde threat beyond this later.

"Cessation forces have taken down communications to primary colonies. For once, Zoner civil war isn't a light term out here - we're looking at one right now. Diplomatic talks have ceased and we're certain it means they've no intention of seeking a unified colony structure under current Hopewell Colonial government. We'll be dispatching defensive coordinators to the core systems, in case of this civil war actually occurring.

"As for the unconfirmed reports of non-colonist vessels in the Hopewell sector, we're yet to find anything else aside from old space probes that have drifted into magnetic clouds or ion storms. Even those are usually blank data cores or junk debris. Ah, speaking of junk, seems we have a small circle of Junker clans who have migrated out here - they're assisting rather well in post-construction cleanup. Though back to matters. We have dug out what appears to be a still functional communications station on Heflin Prime. It was buried under two kilometers of snow and ice in the Ranburne valley of the northernmost sector of the planet.

"It's still functional, and we've resupplied power and stripped it's data logs. Comm traffic details will be with held to hard copy couriers since this impending civil war is rapidly approaching. It would be a dear loss if the data we've decoded gets lost to some skirmisher vessel looking to score a shot at non-cessation ships. Believe me, you'll want to look at what we've found.

"Otherwise, we'll be holding firm and attempting to re-open negotiations with the cessation leaders - I just hope they'll turn around from their totalitarian regime and see the benefit in unifying the still young colony worlds. Over and out."

About three days ago we began to recieve increasingly disturbing reports of Wilde activity on the Antiga, Selecusa, and Nu Thessia colonies on the fringes of the Atropos subsector.
Naturally Patrols were sent to investigate these incidents, only to drop completely off the grid.
One patrol ship returned badly damaged with the crew scared witless. What little could be extracted from the surviving crew members confirmed my worst suspicions....A full scale war is brewing in the Atropos Subsector, reports from Heflin Prime say the Hopewell Subsector are in no better shape then us battling insurgents and containing these Neo Wilde.

A piece of good news however is that the about two weeks ago the now renamed
Halcyon Orbital Shipyard became fully operational and will be put to use in the war effort, the prodution capabilites of this shipyard far exceeds any current sirian design ensures that even cruiser class vessels can be constructed in a matter of weeks instead of months.

Image and Specifications will be filed along with this report.

Newer reports claims that the Neo Wilde are launching attacks all across the board and given the Local Colony Militas inability to contain the situation the standing Halcyon government forces have been put on high alert and mobilized to counter the spread of the Neo Wilde Forces, however the two carriers Altarius and Medusa along with escorts will be diverted from the Atropos Sector to the Hopewell Sector to assist the Heflin government forces in containing the Cessation insurection.

All Core and Border Worlds in the Atropos subsector are in the process of being completely sanitized with all colonists reporting to military cordoned medical centers,
those who fail to report to the centers will be exterminated on sight by military personal. Colonists caught without their medical papers on them will be escorted to the nearest security station and put in isolation until their medical records can be verified.

Martial law are in effect as per 08:00AM tommorow morning standard Sirius time.

These are harsh methods that will undoubtly cause quite a stir back home but such is the situation we are faceing out here in the new colonies.

With the 2nd and 3rd Expeditionary Flotillas being sent to the Neo Wilde Front and the 1st Fleet still sitting in dry dock for mandatory service and repair, and the 2nd fleet performing domestic security, along the with the 3rd fleet being sent to the Hopewell Sector We are stretched thin and will be preparing for a lengthy conflict with these Neo Wilde.
