Jean Aigle, a true Legionnaire
The brief biography:
Born in 794 A.S. and grown up on Planet Nevers, Jean had a hard childhood. His parents worked in a factory which indent was to process and accomplish hull panels for the glorious ships of his majesty to be able to fight the Council and the unlawfuls.
The labour conditions were strict and dure. Each employee had to work about 12-14 hours a day, the salary was extremely low, holidays weren't granted. Nevertheless Jean's parents could always find time to look after their child, he could attend the basic primary school and was about to enter the same business as his parents when he was 16. Though the working conditions went even worse within the years and Jean began to doubt the justice and the solidarity of the society that surrounded him. He organised several strikes with his fellow workers. Those little insurgences were unsuccessful though. But people more and more started to dislike the exploitation by the governemet. The King pursued such a policy because of the heavy losses of his fleet at the borders. The sluggish and inflexible fleet of the Royal Navy often fell victim to the guerilla tactics of the Council and mainly the unlawful organisations. In this time Jean heard of the defect of the Legion of the Damned to the Gallic Brigands. Those were now doing propaganda for the equality, the freedom and justice for all people living in Gallia. Jean was thrilled by this idea and he started to plot an escape plan. He invested all his free time to establish the necessary connection and relations with the right people. In a very risky action Jean, his parents and a few of his mates could escape from Planet Nevers with a little shuttle. For the first time in his life he got out of the dirty and scummy slum of the dark underworld of the capital of Nevers. The little ship managed to remain undiscovered from the surveillance perimeter of the Police. Jean successfully flew to the coordinations he was given by agents of the Legion of the Damned on Planet Nevers. The shuttle arrived at Montbard base and the refugees were welcomed gently. Jean was given a job as a Bandit within the ranks of the Legion of the Damned. He gladly accepted this offer and started the basic education for flying a fighter. He quickly integrated himself in the new environment and society, made many experiences, was able to purchase himself an own Bomber and a Gunboat and now arrived in the mid-ranks of the Legion.
Being an important and active member of the Legion of the Damned, Jean has already participated on diplomatic missions with the Sirians, like the Kusarians, has had encounters with the Royal Navy, and has assisted in raids in Tau-23 against the Miners and the Coalition. His aim in life is the liberation of the people of Gallia from the occupation and opression of the government. As a proud Brigand Legionnaire of the Legion he fights for his and other people's rights and liberty to live in a free Gallia one day.
