Helmut Wecht was born on planet Nuremberg, Munich system in 791 A.S. His childhood was quite sad. His father, Karl Wecht (born on planet New Berlin in 748 A.S.) worked in the Rheinland Military but he and his entire squadron suddenly disappeared during a patrol mission in Sigma 13 system.
It has never been found what exactly happened there, but even so, it was a great loss for Helmut's family and because noone had ever found the truth about Karl's death, the family was not entitled to compensation. Bacause of it, they were forced to live in hard and cruel conditions for another seven years.

Helmut's high school studies were focused in military weapon technology, and when he graduated, his new main responsibility was to feed the poor family. His mother, Renate Wecht (born on planet New Berlin in 750 A.S.) worked as a scientist at Nuremberg's Hospital Clinic, but unfortunately it was a poorly paid job. Helmut's brother, Joachim Wecht (born on planet Nuremberg in 784 A.S.) studied high military school on the planet New Berlin (as his father did) and he could not help his family event though ne knew how desperate they were.
Two years later, Helmut found a job as a development consultant in Daumann Heavy Construction. He didn't enjoy much of this work, but it was the chance to help his family and that was the most important thing to him. As time went on, Helmut gained a high experiences with new constructive and weapon systems in Rheinland. Daumann Heavy Construction was not specialized in developing or producing weapon systems, but occasionally they received orders from the Rheinland Military to create a certain types of weapon components. Helmut was very successful in his new job and his family finally had enough money for a proper life. A few years later, Helmut's mother received a job offer from Cambridge research institute in Bretonia. Helmut convinced her to accept this opportunity. He was, after all, old and paid enough to take care of himself and his younger sister. A couple of weeks later (after her mother left Rheinland space), Helmut applied to the Rheinland Military fleet.
His Brother helped him with it. A few months later Helmut passed the exams and became an official member of the Rheinland Military forces. For a short time Helmut worked as a weapon engineer under Major Voelkel's command on battleship Strausberg. He received numerous awards for his exceptional services. Helmut himself suggested several improvements in weapon systems and helped during development of the new model of bomber 13-ARKM-N37. Everything was perfect, until the Rheinland-Liberty war conflict. Helmut was transferred to the attack wing Delta-Sieben, stationed in Hamburg system. He fought the Liberty Navy forces several times and always managed to survive. Unfortunately, his brother had no such luck. Joachim Wecht was killed during defensive manouvers around planet Hamburg in 817 A.S. His fighter was heavily damaged by one of the hostile missiles and he was not able to eject himself, because of the safety mechanism failure. For Helmut this was a very difficult situation to deal with.

He was even considering to leave Rheinland Military when he suddenly found some informations about an organization called the Marinenachtichtendienst (Rheinland Intelligence). The MND was searching for new agents to join them and Helmut saw this as an great opportunity of his career. He has learned many new things, as an Agent of the Rheinland Inteligence, and even found the truth abou his father's death. Now he assists in all kinds of secret operations across the Rhineland space, but not only there...
