Our base received a heavily encrypted transmission from one of the Nauru dig-sites.
From what the message reads, there was a significant recovery. The team secured
- it seems - an active artifact. We sent an extraction team to pick them up and relocate
the item to a more secure location ASAP. The convoy is being sent to the site one ship
at a time, to not raise suspicion with large fleet signatures. We will report the retrieval
as soon as we receive a confirmation from the Nauru ground teams.

Guildmaster Kyras -

During my recent visit here to Delta to deal with our newest conquest and their surrender, my scanners noted a pattern in Corsair ship movements. There were several ships, all headed to Nauru. It's only due to our enhanced pattern detection software that this was detected.

This action concerns me, as we do have intelligence reports of ancient Nomad ruins on this planet. You are to investigate with a small patrol - quietly - and report to me your findings.

The extraction team in Nauru's orbit confirmed the pickup of the artifact.
Forwardning message:

Code:
Commander,

the artifact is onboard. We are waiting for one more shuttle
to deliver the excavation team. They have most experience
in describing the artifact's effects on it's surroundings. And
some of them are quite interesting. Just as we boarded the
package, we identified a surge of power in our inactive and
shut-down engines. The item itself is small. One could fit it
into his pocket. It is shaped like a triangular based pyramid.

More updates soon.
