Hello there,
I just had an Idea about a new faction.
Well, Rheinland already has some revolution movements, but nothing what is like my idea.
It's not finished right now, but the most important part to know is that some Rheinland Marine Officers and many titled and better living citizens want more force and dont think they can live longer with the government system existing at the moment.
But before I can go on with that there are still some questions and you maybe can help me to clear them.
1. Is it practiable at all?
I dont want to found another lolwut or wtflolgank faction, it should be all quite logically
2. Is it possible to use Rheinland Military vehicles?
As some of the members deserted from the military at least the high command should be able to use some RM ships (remember what I told before, we dont want to be a wtfcapspam faction, it would be not more than 1 or two captured GBs and some fighters).
3. Which affiliation to choose?
The monarchists would have targets not matching with factions like the Volksfront or the Red Hessians except they all dont want the Chancellor. Or would it be more wisely to do it as an official faction so they could get their own ID?
4.Could you imagine to RP as a member of this faction?
As there are many rich and influential people in this movement they think most time that they are too good for fights, so it would be much more RP.
It would be really nice if you could help me or just give me a feedback.
I'll try to write a little RP background story over the weekend and post it on sunday or so.
You can also add point which are important to discuss!

The von Richthofens will lead Rheinland into a new era of wealthy and economic and military strength by teaching long forgotten traditions, willingly eliminated by our current government! Will you help us? Will you participate in bringing the right person up to the head of Rheinland?! I repeat: DAS VOLK BRAUCHT EINEN KAISER!!'
This was the beginning of his last speech in front of his collaboratives somewhere on Planet New Berlin.
In this way he could already convince many of the upper class citizens. He, Manfred von Richthofen, is a real genius in talking. As only son of an old family strong connected with Rheinwehr he soon discovered his purpose in this world. In his opinion, Rheinland is getting violated by the rough hands of the so called 'god chancellor' and the national-socialist course the government follows. Well, nobody of his cooperatives says he should or would lead Rheinland less hard than it's done now, but many people realized that the country of Rheinland wont work without connections to the other houses. And especially the rich and influential citizens see (or at least believe) that there must be a separation between the normal people and the aristocrats.
Von Richthofen uses this way of thinking to unite all those who are enemies of the government. But 'the Elbmonarchists' as they call themselves, doesn't act like the Volksfront or members of the Red Hessian Army, which are knowingly normal workers with not too much knowledge about war and using simple guerrilla tactics to reach there very temporally set targets. No, more likely they try to revive long lost military traditions and organize themselves well, even if it might look a bit inefficent. But so they are even with the few military spaceships deserted Military officers brought to the Monarchists very effective but still not very aggressive, because most of the titled members think they are too good for such an ordinary thing like fighting. And that's the point were the normal Rheinland citizen joins the fun. Richthofen and his followers try to win the mass of the population with propaganda about one leader, chosen by the destiny. He will bring Rheinland back to it's old glory and is able to use the full potential of the house...at least according to the half-truths he tell. And this glorious Kaiser shall be (could anyone expect anything else?) Richthofen himself. The system he wants to establish is most related to a monarchy, although the single governors chosen by him would be able to take part in the government. This organisation is a danger potential for Rheinland nobody should underestimate, although Richthofen and his men don't have much influence on the normal citizen, it's still a movement consisting of formerly Military officers and rich supporters.
But to understand the potential of the monarchists you must know their strategy. With consequent manipulation of the public they reach their target. They don't keep it a secret that in their opinion some people are simply chosen to lead and the others have to follow. But while telling them this 'truth' they give the normal citizen a feeling of security and importance. A Monarchist is always gentle, polite and follow strict rules of behavior. Although they are considered as enemies of the state within Rheinland territory, many monarchists try to live their live. They still cruise around in their big yachts and sometimes they are seen in the border worlds where they (more or less) annoy travelers with their propaganda. Of course they have a good status with the warriors of the Volksfront, but that's only to reach their target. But in comparative with the iron fist government under the flag of the chancellor they are a smaller problem.
All in all this movement still is a little point in a big galaxy, but they are motivated, not bad equipped and partially educated in political questions.
