Faction Name: Imperial Contracting and Shipping
Faction Objectives: To make money in any legal way; ICS will primarily act as a shipping organization with no political affiliation. They would like to be stationed in Bering, so they could run goods from Liberty to Bretonia, and from Rheinland to Kusari; primarily they want to make their money shipping between regions. ICS will also, however, act as a military contracting company. As a military contracting company, ICS will supply weapons, supplies and even troops to those willing to pay for its members expertise. All acting troops are recommended to come from a military background.
Zone of Influence: Legal trade routes throughout Liberty and Rheinland.
Factions Diplomacy: ICS will act as a quasi-legal organization. For the most part, they will attempt to remain neutral between nations and stick to shipping. However, the paramilitary side of the organization may, at times, take up arms against other factions or nations, depending on the money to be made. The faction would be hostile towards all unlawful factions, and unfriendly towards any and all companies/corporations who cross regional boarders (for instance, ICS would not be unfriendly towards Universal Shipping, as they mainly stay within Liberty, but would be unfriendly towards the Independent Miners Guild, as the IMG operates between borders thus acting as competition for ICS).
RP Backstory: Made up of former military members disgruntled by the seeming never-ending war between nations and veteran cargo runners who are more interested in the movement of goods than politics, the ICS was formed as a coalition between these two groups as an attempt to see if money could be made as a result of and simultaneously despite the massive problems caused by the ongoing wars (restriction of space, affiliation with one region causing problems with another, and so on).
Hierarchy: ICS would be ordered as a corporation. The leader would be CEO, and below him two Vice-Presidents of the companies two faces: Vice President in charge of Shipping and Vice President in charge of Military Contracting. There will also be one acting CFO, Chief Financial Officer, who will serve as the faction "bank." Members will be divided into shipping/military groups, with equal standing in the faction applying between the two. There will be three sets of rank within each group: Manager, Supervisor and Contractor.
Allowed Tech: Given their non-political status, members would be required to use either a Mercenary ID (if on the paramilitary side of the business) or a Freelancer ID (if on the trading side of the business).
ROSTER:
This is currently the roughest, because apparently none of the members besides me have yet created forum accounts >_>. Expect this to be corrected in the very near future, well before there is any application for official status.
CURRENT PLAYERS WHO WOULD BECOME MEMBERS:
Captain_Teft/Major_Adam_Shalashaska
Private_Beau
Lt.Broussard
Staff_Sergeant_Spiff
Sgt._D_Schrempf
Steranka_Tank
- As I said, this is all very rough-draftish. Please, provide any, all and as much feedback as possible (but please try to keep it constructive!). I am willing to do anything and everything required to get this up to snuff so that, hopefully in the near future, I can submit it for official status, so please help me do what I need to do get it there!
Thanks!
