Step One; Infiltrate Norrington's Estate.

The easiest part of the plan. Sir Dominic Windram Norrington was used to covert meetings with agents, and setting up one with him had been especially easy. Evyn had contacted him securely through communication links set up during his directorship of the Bretonian Intelligence Service, and arranged from him to meet with Shaw. These meetings we usually set up to occur at his private residence, since his resignation from directorship. Though retired, he still met with many of the agents he had assigned to the agency. He also planned unsanctioned covert activities using these agents.

Shaw was led to Norrington's study by his butler. Shaw was unarmed. Norrington's automated security sensors would've detected a gun. "Thank you Johnathan." The two men waited until the butler had left the room, closing the heavy wooden door behind him. "So, Commander Shaw was it? Azalea said you had some information for me." Norrington was referring to Evyn Hunters codename used before when she was turned into an undercover MI5 agent.

Shaw shook his head. Step Two; Eliminate the Target. "No." Norrington looked confused. "No?" Shaw stepped toward Norrington and drew a small folded piece of paper from his pocket. He held this out for Norrington to take. As the man took it from his hand, Shaw smiled. That small piece of paper contained only one sentence; "Evelyn Dimitri sends her regards."

As Norrington read this line, his eyes widened. Before he could react, Shaw pounced. He grabbed the man's throat with both hands and bent him over his desk, sending its contents scattering. He kept his hands pressed against Norrington's neck, choking him. Norrington tried to fight back, but he was far older and weaker than the young man slowly crushing the life out of him. Norrington clawed at his face, leaving a triplet of shallow cuts. Shaw lifted the mans head a few inches, then slammed it back to the desk with as much force as he could muster. The older man's efforts ceased and he convulsed for several seconds before finally going limp. When Shaw let go and stepped back, Norrington was no longer breathing, his body sprawled across his desk, and his foggy eyes staring blankly.

Shaw backed away from the body, focusing on getting his breathing under control. Killing was nothing new to Shaw. He had had to kill many people throughout his life, and while the murder of the data analyst had been his first real murder, it had not sparked any emotional reaction from him. This murder, however, had not been the result of an impersonal bullet. He had tore away the man's life brutally with his bare hands. He shoved the thought out of his mind and turned his attention back to his mission.

Shaw picked the small piece of paper Norrington had dropped and ceremoniously laid it across the corpse's chest.

Step Three; Collect all Data Archives. Shaw took out a mobile harddrive and connected it to the office's computer terminal. The harddrive would automatically copy all information on the terminal. Any encryption or other security could then be hacked through by experts at a remote location. As this was being done, Shaw proceeded with the rest of the plan.

Step Four; Eliminate All Witnesses. Shaw grabbed a small laser pistol that was stuffed into one of the desk's drawers. It didn't take him long to find the estate's butler. He was preparing Norringtons bedroom for the night. Taking him out was short work. The rest of the estate's staff, the maids and cook, had been sent home already. One of the reasons Norrington met with his agents at night.

Shaw returned to the office and disconnected his harddrive from the terminal. He emptied the rest of the laser pistol's energy in turning the computer into a pile of burnt scrap metal. That private terminal, and the databanks on the Craven's Nest, a former Intelligence Service Mobile Operations ship from his administration, were the only remaining locations of a lot of information from Norrington's directorship of BIS that he didn't want to leave to his successors. This included the information that was of interest to Shaw and his sponsor.

As he left the estate, he phoned the Bretonia News Service.
