Background:
Zheng-He was born on the Hogoshan base of Kabukicho Depot in the New Tokyo system to two wealthy Hogoshan traders. Throughout childhood and young-adulthhood, Zheng-He often traveled with his parents to a variety of locations across Sirius. In doing so, he encountered a great variety of people and ideas, and from early on integrated these ideas together. During the long voyages, Zheng-He would read a great deal of history and philosophy and thus quickly acquired a large and diverese amount of knowledge. At the age of 30, Zheng-He was now out on his own and struggling to build some wealth for himself. His efforts at this time were constantly plagued by attacks from both Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums and Zheng-He struggled to make ends meet. It was last year, however, that things took a turn for both better and worse.
Zheng-He's parents were ruthlessly attacked by Blood Dragons in the Honshu system. Although reports stated that they fought valiantly, their trading vessel was no match for the swarm of Dragons, and they were killed in the battle. News of this loss hit Zheng-He hard and he wept for many days. Soon after, however, Zheng-He was informed that he would be receiving a rather sizeable inheritence. Although he detested the fact that such wealth had come through such sorrowing circumstances, he nevertheless was extremely grateful for his parents generosity. After much negotiating with the Kusari Navy, Zheng-He managed to purchase an outdated Explorer-class vessel, which he named the Evrae. After bringing the Evrae up to speed, Zheng-He set out to find his destiny. He will travel the Sirius Sector seeking out the unknown, seizing noble opportunities, and living a life full of whatever adventures and experiences he may come across.
