Hail, worthy Admiralty of the Rheinland Militär.

I'm coming to you with a special request this time, as usual, you might say.

It' some time gone, since we last time had business together, but this one is urgent now, and I can't unfortunately try to make it short. I have a carbon copy of our last valid contract attached for you, regarding the permission for Bretonian Merchant Navy Convoys to pass Rheinland space with military escort vessels.

The times have changed for Bretonia, as you may have heard, the war against Kusari is intensifying, the supplies are harder to get, and the status quo is harder to maintain. Out of this reason, the civilian transport group, which was flying for Bowex before, has been set under Armed Forces command, and all transport vessels have been equipped with valid Armed Forces registry papers.

I'm now requesting, due to the hard times we have, and the fact, that Bretonia needs every supply source that can be reached, to extend the last valid contract on the whole Merchant Navy now, including Armed Forces transport vessels. I hope, we can come to an agreement, which don't limit us in numbers of transports being allowed to enter Rheinland, the numbers of escorts permitted had already been fixed. The role of the Merchant Navy didn't change at all, and we will, of course and as always, obey the laws of Rheinland, by not carrying our own war into Rheinlands borders.

However, we'd like the get clearance for the routes already cleared in the former contract:

Omega 7 - Stuttgart - New Berlin - Frankfurt - Sigma 13 (To Naha) ... and back.
Omega 7 - Stuttgart - New Berlin - Frankfurt - New Berlin - Dresden (To Bautzen station) ... and back.
Omega 7 - Stuttgart - New Berlin, Oder Shipyard, Planet New Berlin, The Ring, and back.

In addition, and as a result of the various threats by pirates, and the importance of large ore carrying convoys for her majesties economy, we would request our maximum number of granted escorts to:

2 Bretonian Gunboats
4 Snubcraft of various types

The cargo being brought into Rheinland's borders will be:

- Refugees
- Gold
- various ores

Guten abend, herr Schwarz.

I took some time to check the past deal you had with Rheinland, since i wasn't in charge by that time.

The Rheinland Military Oberkommando decided to confirm the permission you already have for trading convoys in Rheinland, but regarding Sigma 13, again, you'll have to contact the Gas Miners Guild.

All vessels that belongs to the Bretonian Merchant Navy are allowed to enter Rheinland borders for their shipping routes.

Trading Bretonian Merchant Navy vessels are also allowed to bring as escorts a maximum of:

- 2 Bretonian Gunboats
- 4 Snubcraft

It is imperative that the convoys will never divert from the plotted course through the Trade lane/Jumpgate system network.

I don't have to remind you how important the respect for our Law will be, and that we reserve the right to revoke your permission, in case of a violation of it.
