I fly a slow and ugly ship, a Tanker, and thats fair enough. I trade fair, look out for other traders, and even help out with a loan or two. But may I ask where are the Bretonia Military or the police?
In Liberty the House forces swarm like flies, in Rheinland they jump down your throat if you deviate a degree or two, even in Kusari the military make a show. But in Bretonia it would seem as though the UoG has won, they are everywhere!
As a Pilot for a large House company ALG, I demand action, for criminals to have the run of Leeds, and New London is terrible. It threatens our jobs and lively hood, I have to work hard to keep my job, my bosses are hard task masters and expect me to make credits for them, and not to pay off the UoG!
Perhaps I should ask Head office at Dortmund to ask the Rheinland Military to provide escorts through Bretonian Space, or start to hire Mercenary's.
Now I do not wish to anger the Loyal Members of Her Majesty's Forces, I just wanted to explain how bad it has gotten. They may have recruitment problems, or staff issues, maybe the UoG are just better. But that is not the point.
ALG has faught long and to compete with Daumann, and they do not want their current position as one of the key heavy industries in Rheinland to be jepardised.
I would strongly suggest that something be done, or ALG may have to do something on their own!

Don't worry Mr. Stormblade there are Bretonia police out there. In fact I met one the other day in front of Leeds. He didn't say much after I gave him a full broadside from my Rogue Gunboat. However, those dastardly, swarthy little gold-grabbing men know that Bretonia is beset by foes on all sides, and choose to take advantage of this by pirating whilst we are busy with other threats. This is, unfortunately, hardly surprising from a group so bereft of good Bretonian nationalism and morals. Please contact the BPA via their message dump or private communications if you would like an escort at a particular time, and one will be provided to you free of charge.

Excuse me, good sir, but the UoG are not winning anything... they have fought the QCRF many times over the past few weeks, and have been repeatedly crushed by Royal forces, mostly on their 'own' turf. If you check recent, unbiased I might add, BBC newsreels (avoid certain biased talk shows which call the UoG 'Leprechauns' for example.), you will find that the UoG are having their terrorist hides handed to them in a serious manner. They recently lost a Destroyer for example, and repeatedly have had their fighters and gunboats shot down by QCRF fighter-bomber wings outside their asteroid base in Dublin.
I do believe that Commander Barclay's report should furnish ye with all the relevant information.
If you are worried about your transport, you may wish to pay more attention to the news. As part of Bretonia's Economic Rejuvenation policy, the police are offering free escorts to those carrying certain cargos. Also, mercenaries are welcomed in Bretonia for escort and auxiliary purposes. I would personally advise that you hire the Mandalorians or PRF to act as escorts, especially considering that our own military ships are needed on the front lines, as we are currently fighting multiple wars and therefore can't be available all the time.

I can guarantee you that the Bretonian Police Authority are as active in our duty to protect innocent citizen as any other House police. We may be currently undermanned, but our zeal to serve those who are in favor of our beloved Queen is unbroken. In fact, our recent strikes against the UoGs and other lawbreakers are proving our effectiveness. You may also look up our closed cases
here to convince yourself.
I am sorry that you didn't notice our actions yet, but I can assure you that they are done. Whenever you see a BPA officer, feel free to ask him for an escort, if you are concerned about your security here in Bretonia.
