Gentlemen,

I've received a report from one of our patrol vessels, while enroute from Hood to Cardiff, which has me a bit confused. I'm not sure what to make of it. It seems to be detailing Rheinland military activity within the New London system, targeting a Bowex freighter and some Junker vessels. To my knowledge, Bretonia and Rheinland are on fair terms with eachother... so I am confused as to what this was. Our patrol ship did not get involved in this encounter, but recorded the following log:

* At this point, a Destroyer patrol flanked with two gunboats came into view, they appeared to be targeting the Rheinland fightercraft, though the Bowex freighter had taken quite a beating already. It showed no intention of heading for one of the emergency docks of Southamton, which seemed a bit odd to us. The vessel was clearly outclassed *

If there is trouble brewing between Rheinland and Bretonia, we would appreciate a headsup - the Guild will likely be caught inbetween, given the locations of Aland and Freistadt. If these are simply a few rogue Rheinland vessels, we'll mark them as potential threats and deal with them as such. Our own relation with Rheinland is precarious, hence our patrol vessel's reluctance to engage them.
