Rioting broke out today outside the compound containing families and members of the Gas Miners Guild. Protesters of the harsh treatment of the Guild had mingled with protesters on behalf of radical groups The Blood Dragons, Golden Chrysanthemums and the DPRK (Democratic People's Rebulic of Kusari). Honshu Govenor Takata Kan appealed for calm, even as he renewed his call for a response from the Kusari Government to the Fakuto Records, which are a series of proofs detailing Samura Heavy Industries' involvement with the Corsair Empire.
"Violence cannot and will not solve Samura's blatant diplomatic violations. I call upon the Shoguns to outlaw Samura's trafficking in Artifacts immediatly, and to enter negotiations with the Guild for a new and lasting peace."

Protests continue in front of His Majesty's royal palace. Protesters are demanding cease of military operations in Honshu system and immediate end of Kusari-GMG war. Police forces are blocking entrance into the palace.

Protesters are starting to appear in other parts of Planet Honshu's largest city New Matsue. Numbers of rioters are starting to grow. Police is trying to calm the situation and convince protesters to return back to their homes. HST have sources claiming that Council of the Rising Suns is considering a martial law.

I cannot speak for the whole government, only for a portion of our forces. I have looked at the Fakuto record but am still discussing its authenticity with other officers.
I personally have not yet received any information that draws any suspicion to the harmless artifact trade.

I am appalled at the mention of mistreatment of miners guild employees: I assure you that even our ancient, hated enemies the blood dragons are treated fairly and without malice. We believe that prisoners, regardless of origin, should be treated with basic human rights: they are fed, provided basic amenities, and not tortured psychologically or otherwise. I am sure that any gas miners guild members that are being dealt with by the state police are under a comfortable House-arrest or similarly well accommodated.

The Samura leadership would like to go on record as stating that if the prisoners are being mistreated by the personal on planet Honshu, we have more than enough room for them on planet Junyo where their safety can be assured.
We realise the people placed under protective custody on planet Honshu are not guilty of bombing innocent civilians like their more military compatriots in the sigma systems.
It is this ability to refrain oneself that will assure the safety of the prisoners even while the GMG will not give the same courtesy to Kusari civilians.

It is only through rising above the petty, greedy concerns of the Guild and like minded people that only wish harm for the Kusari people, that we can maintain the rights of the people and protect them from these malcontents.

We ask the minority that are rioting on planet Honshu to go back to their homes instead of trying to voice the opinions of murderers and terrorists.

The accords the minister of Honshu speaks of shows three vessels over fifteen months breaking laws of the GMG that were not even published in a proper format.
Other than that, the only other things it displays are facts that the GMG work with both the Order and Mandalorian Mercenaries, both groups that have shown time and again to only wish for the destruction of the Kusari people.

Although rioting on Planet Honshu itself has subsided somewhat, unrest seems to be spreading throughout Honshu system. The worst affected station is Yukawa Shipyard, where a mass strike seems to have been engineered - basic station functions are being maintained by only a skeleton staff. Further, there are confirmed reports of ships with Kishiro transponders deliberatly and openly breaking the Emperor's decreed blockade on the GMG. Kishiro| corporation has denied any connection, stating that a number of ships had gone missing from corporate hangers on Honshu during the recent unrest. The Democratic Party of Kusari claimed credit for demonstrations outside Samura-controlled Osaka facility, as well as at Kishiro's Shinagawa and Samura's Shinjuku station headquarters in New Tokyo, however the reports of these demonstrations are unconfirmed. The Kusari State Police could not be reached for comment.

There seems to be some cognitive dissonance about this issue.

Sombunall Kusarans are alleged to be living under sub-standard conditions on Planet Honshu, while sombunall stations in Okinawa are paying top credits for migrant workers and refugees from the Taus and Bretonia.

In any event, the Church of Eris will encourage its' members to provide food and other provisions to Planet Honshu until its' "guests" can be safely returned to their homes.

High command has reviewed the Fakuto record and after advisement from our own researchers and Kansai consultants we deem the actions of the guild to be disproportionate to the crime.
Though the record appears to be authentic, the issue of cargo legality remains.

Clearly, the identified Samura pilots did violate gas miner guild law, and for that it appears the Guild have exacted their punishment severely. The Gas miners Guild and Samura must settle their grievances on that matter separately.

We cannot see how this issue alone could justify the hostile invasion of Planet Kurile, and the current inordinate scale of military operations. We will continue to impose blockades and sanctions upon the Gas Miners Guild until a satisfactory accord has been reached.

We will review any new evidence on the implications of artifact uses from Samura Heavy industries and Kishiro Technologies. As the church of Eris has extended its offer of aid, so too have Samura. Any eligible citizens are free to evacuate if they feel the need. We do not wish to compound the tense situation on the ground.

More than a month later after the last wave of protest it seems that rioters are grouping once again after the latest informations about the capture of Bretonia base LD-14 in Seto system. While part of the Kusari celebrates this another step in the war between our house and Bretonia, many people ask if cost of such a progress is adequate. The numbers of protesters seem to grow rapidly.

We have confirmed news that police is using tear-gas against the protesters to disperse them. It seems that riots are growing more violent. Words such as "death to the Emperor" and "end the invasion in Bretonia" can be heard.
