The blackness of space was less than inviting, in the capsule that Urias had been stuffed into. Mutinied. Ridiculous, that anyone would revolt against someone with such an iron-fisted command. Then again, perhaps that had been his problem. Too cruel, too harsh, to all but his most trusted officers. And few of those were indeed trustworthy, as it turned out. Xhaxin's capsule continued towards the Bretonian system, and he fell into dream of his old life, and his old ship. The frigate, Deus Encarmine.

Nearly three months later.

The gunboat Etium Prognatus cruised through the Cambridge system, scanning slowly for traders to pick off, or battleships to (prudently,) run from. Urias Xhaxin stood in the command bridge of his new gunboat, marveling at his acquisition of it. Looking back, he would always find the avarice and corruptable natures of the Bounty Hunters amazing. Anything for enough credits, he supposed. After all, they were former pirates. Well, best not to dwell. He had a cargo freighter to run down.

The large train was less than amiable as the Etium closed in on it. It jerked through the ice field, narrowly dodging the ice chunks. Damn this pilot was good. Urias turned to his comms officer.

"A line to their captain, please."

"Aye, sir. Channel open." The screen to the left of the commanders station flickered to life, and Urias stood to his imposing six and a half feet. The streaks of silver in his beard and hair, along with his mechanical eye, lost ages begone in a bar fight, were an imposing sight.

"Captain. . .Jerome, is it? I would strongly suggest you hand over your cargo and end this useless chase." The trader captains face looked a rictus of horror as he stared at the screen.

"But. . .you're bloody dead! Imalie said so! Your ship is under her command now! This isn't possible!" The captain of the freighter turned to off-screen. "Full power to engines! Get to that jumphole now!" Urias chuckled, and flicked the screens off switch. He turned slowly back to the bridge.

"Mr. Konagi. If you would please obliterate their engines?" The Etium's weapons officer nodded, before lancing out with the gunboats turrets. The engines on either side of the trade ship exploded, and the ship slewed lazily into an asteroid of ice, crumpling through the middle, and tore apart at the seams. "Well, that's a shame, but I can't really fault you James. bad engine placement on these trains these days. Ah well, back to Cambrige, if you would."
