Biography:
Vanille Black's parents resided on the desolate planet of Crete. They were descendants of the colonists who fled from the ship Hispania during its maiden voyage, when Coalition saboteurs badly damaged the ship.
Vanille's mother Karin worked in one of many artefact dealers that coexisted on the planet. Her father, Saint, poached local wildlife to sell their fur and hides to support the family.
Karin died giving birth to Vanille, leaving her with only one parent to begin with. For majority of her childhood she watched her father struggle to cope with Karin's death. Three weeks after her sixteenth birthday she found her father's hunting rifle lodged in his mouth and his brains scattered across the living room roof.
Shortly after his death she took up the ancient tradition of pillaging, mostly concentrating on bounty hunter groups and red hessians. She finds killing and extortion to be an easy alternative to having to face up to her life so far. By her twentieth birthday she had travelled to Omega 47 via jump holes and now spends most of her time taking contracts from Battleship Fes.
Her ruthlessness in combat stands for itself, by the age of 23 she had collected on over 4000 red hessian and bounty hunter kills. She acquired a distinct reputation of being 'cold and calculating, leaving morality out of the equation', this made her revered as a strategist without emotional compromise. Now in her mid-twenties she seeks employment under the official Corsair banner but as of yet has found no revenue to meeting the right contact to achieve her goal.
Most of her flying experience was in a Titan, which she won in a game of stakes. However, shortly after turning 22 she was ambushed during a bounty mission involving a handful of red hessians leaving what remained of her ship unidentifiable. Seeking a new vessel she sought out a worthy craft via returning to omicron gamma on a trade vessel disguised as a Zoner. The vessel docked with Tripoli station where she met a shifty trader offering a M42 'Imperator' equal to the money she had made from her onslaughts prior.
She named her ship Black Creed to represent her unspoken belief in Corsair traditions. Despite having no real ambition she does obtain a certain enjoyment in battle especially when things go in her way. She uses the blood off of those who she kills to paint red streaks across her ship, most notably was her Titan, in which after its prolonged flight time she had killed enough Corsair rivals that the whole ship was stained red.
Now with the firepower she's always wanted and the battle experience she's always needed, she's looking to aim her sights on something bigger. Hopefully one day flying under the Corsair's in a Legate Corsair Dreadnaught to rain Havoc on all those who oppose the Corsair's with their ambitions for the future of Sirus.
