Greetings dear Sir or Madam! My name is Sean Stone and I´m executive director of Stone Bros Ltd/GmbH. For beginning a few words about us. We are independent medium-small sized company which have many contracts in Rheinland, Bretonia and Kusari, but we consider Rheinland as our "settlement" system now because we have here our headquarters, main docks, hangars and other technical facilities. We use only our own employees, part of them are family members, because as is clear from our name, we were found as a family company. Our personnel and ship crew have all the training courses that are necessary for responsible handling of different types of cargo and which comply to all safety regulations in Sirius, and our ships meets all safety standards for transport of common commodities there. And now its crew is ready to get all the training courses which will prepare them to fly and trade in Kingdom of Gallia.

This leads to main topic of this message. We are trading in Sirius space but now we feel that we obtained enough information to enlarge our activities to Galia, because we are all the time looking for new business oportunities. For this reason I want to apply for licenses to two our ships - entrée, commerce and preferred shipping permits to our transport flagship, and entrée permit for escort ship that sometimes guard it.

We need both trading licenses because we are planning to import gold ore to Alesia station in Burgundy, where if we have correct information is foundry and factory which buys this commodity. On route back ships will be haul famous Gallic cryocubes which are very required goods in Rheinland, and/or holo-tainment bands. We have also first pre-orders for delicious Gallic wine and fine tobacco if we manage to start trade with your companies.

Our trading can be I think at the same time profitable to Kingdom of Gallia same as for Stone Bros Ltd/GmbH. We will import to you country ore that is demanded here and also help Gallic companies and producers find new markets especially in for them distant and not well known Rheinland, where we have lot of contacts and potential customers for their goods.

I hope that our application for said licenses will be approved. At moment when you inform us about that, we will send licensing fee of 27 500 000 Gallic Francs to GRP|Tresor account. If you have any further questions, please contact me.

Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Monsieur Stone,
Your permits will be valid once the payment of 27,500,000 francs to GRP|Tresor has been received. Please take your time to study Gallic law in detail as any violations may result in the removal of your trade rights.

Be aware that you are only being granted individual permits for these two ships, any further Stone Bros ships will require an upgraded permit.

Greetings commandant Laroux! I´m glad that our application was approved so soon and I´m sending you in data attachment confirmation of payment of fees. We studied Gallic law in detail already before we sent application and I´m sure that there is no space for mistakes. I have to say that your law is the best for honest trader from all five houses, because is simple - there are no restricted zones, border embargoes or for example forbidden ship types. Gallic laws can be short to just simple four rules that every pilot and trader easy understand - don´t pirate, don´t smuggle, get the proper license and be nice to police officers and army pilots.

I´m looking forward that our ships will be very soon put on the Granted Gallic Permits list and we can start our trading in Kingdom of Gallia.

Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Dear Commandant Eveline Laroux,

thank you for referring me to the correct place to request the permit. Indeed, it is a 'bureaucratic nightmare', but I am optimistic that it can be handled.

This is the list of ships which Her Royal Majesty and Commissaire Chevalier requested Mallory & Lambert to submit, as Mallory & Lambert ships cannot fly under a identification tag. So I guess it makes sense to have all the information that you might need for the registration process in just one place.

  • list has been edited for obvious reasons
Furthermore, we still need to be told whether the license translates into a "Corporate Commerce Permit" or a "Corporate Preferred Permit". This is for the GRP Office of Borderprotection to decide, I assume, so I am placing this decision in your hands.

Attached you find the original document:

[font=Microsoft Sans Serif][size=small]
Quote:
[size=small]::FROM THE OFFICE OF HIS MAJESTY, KING CHARLES XI. SOVEREIGN OF THE KINGDOM OF GALLIA::
::Given at the twentieth day of Septembre in the Seven-hundred and Eighty-fifth Year of the Reign of the Royal Family ::

Mallory & Lambert Logistics,

By decree of the Princess Alice DeFrance, you have been given the following authorisations :

- Gallic Corporation Import and Export accreditation.
- Leaving and Entering the Gallic Kingdom.

These authorisations take effect immediatly.

Her word is law,
The office of border affairs.

We figure that Mallory & Lambert was granted the following licenses by Her Royal Majesty:
  • "Gallic Entrée Permit"
  • "Corporate Commerce Permit" or "Corporate Preferred Permit"
Her Majesty's words could be interpreted both ways, theoretically. Therefore we seek clarification on the status.

In case Mallory & Lambert does not own the "Corporate Preferred Permit", we would like to apply for it.

We would also like to ask for a reduced price on the "Corporate Preferred Permit" because the still very young enterprise only owns a small transport fleet and these are not even the big 5000 standard storage unit transport ships but mostly agile transports of about 3000 standard storage units.

Furthermore, unlike other corporations that have secured shipping permits, we will never be hauling the masses of goods, as we cannot even use the big transport class vessels due to our choice to fly in civilian transports with identifications that do not show to the unsuspecting passerby that we are a Gallic enterprise, working deeply in Sirius.

I would also kindly ask that the services that Mallory & Lambert has provided and which Her Royal Majesty Alice deFrance and Commissaire Chevalier are well informed about, are taken into account. We will further provide intelligence services to the Gallic Royal Police, and give IDF and GMS secure and cheap access to Bretonian Gold Ore via the M&L Storage Barge-class Facility in Orkney.

Perhaps I can sum it up: We are not a normal foreign shipping company that wants to enter Gallia to make credits fast. We are a Gallic enterprise which chose to enter the dangerous Sirius with two goals: serve Gallia by providing services (e.g. goods, intel) to it and connect Gallic and Sirian markets. To keep these operations running, we need to get the "Corporate Preferred Permit" and we hope we will get it at a suitably reduced price.

Thank you in advance, Commandant Eveline Laroux.

Yours sincerely

Évelyne Mallory

Mademoiselle Mallory,
The standard price for the preferred shipping permit is 150,000,000 francs. Unfortunately I am unable to offer you a reduced price at this time (Orders from the Directeur himself). I apologize if this causes an inconvenience.

If you still wish to acquire the permit then the payment should be sent to GRP|Tresor. If not, feel free to take up any concerns you may have with Directeur Gerald.

Dear Commandant Eveline Laroux,

the decision to charge Mallory & Lambert, a Gallic Enterprise that has worked hard to nearly continuously keep up Gallic corporations' access to Bretonian resources and that has gathered intelligence from all over Sirius, the same price as any greedy foreign corporation is regrettable.

Actually, let me be honest: I find it insulting to be treated the same as some of these dirty Sirian invaders and spies, insulted to a degree that has made me reconsider the current "no profit policy" at the Mallory & Lambert Orkney Barge.

The decision whether to go forward has to be reconsidered, as my willingness to serve Gallia for pure patriotism has taken a major blow by your decision.

Any further report about Freeports or any other intel or service that the GRP receives from M&L will cost between 1 and 10 million credits. An exposee will be shown before to assure you about the continuously high quality before you purchase the intel.

If you think I am representing just a regular shipping company who is out there for the fast money, then be prepared to be treated as a regular customer of one of these companies.

The case has been brought to the attention of Her Royal Majesty Princess Alice DeFrance, as I do not think that the GRP acts in the best interest of Gallia by insulting those who have served our House by treating them the same as the Sirian scum that we are trying to overthrow.

Yours sincerely

Évelyne Mallory
