Pilots travelling through the endless Cosmos,

the members of the GHOST Headquarters salute you.

The Galactic Hackers, Outlaws & Shadow Traders shall explain later where they come from and what their goal is. Maybe you'll even guess it before we do explain it.

We only want to make sure you understand this:

1) We don't pirate or attack other pirate factions.

2) We pirate freighters and transports with a great sens of responsability, and according to their financial possibilities. If you only have 10.000$, for ex., we will ask you only to give us 500$ and give you one kilogram blood diamonds in exchange, since there is no use of destroying blood diamonds, because the people who died for these diamonds, I'm afraid we can't ressuscitate them. I hope you're still following me.

3) We give even military units a chance, if they're not tranporting prisoners, to escape destruction, and propose them to pay us a little unofficial donation to make sure our children get some food, books, music, drinks and education.

4) We free all prisoners found in the cargos of our fallen ennemies. We sometimes fly through the whole Galaxy just to make sure Molly pilots an ennemy dropped in Honshu can get back to their families, friends and additional girl- or boyfriends.

5) We're not the type of guy working together with Mercenaries, even when they seem to work together with Corsairs or Outcasts. For example pilots flying an Outcast gunboat in Omega 41 with a Merc ID and a Freelancer IFF might get into trouble if they meet m... huh, us.

6) We don't always succeed in our operations (I for myself might be a little bit overaged, being 35 years old, for most of our operations), but we're improving. Don't try to escape. Just finance our f****** families and children and additional girl- and boyfriends, and everything's gonna be fine for you, your ship and the bottle of wine you're hiding on the back of your seat. If you d'ont believe me, then believe this:

Let me begin with a congratulations and a word of advice.

Now I usually operate in Liberty or the Omegas, But i will often go and kill fellow pirates for the hell of it in other locations.

This one is special: after collecting the cargo of some traders/bounty hunters (these last just beeing traders of so called 'justice', after all), we sometimes have the surprise to free dozens of poor colleagues who've been sitting very incomfortably in ennemy ships. Of course we bring them back to where they belong, which is NOT in Alaska, nore in Texas:

Hm, trying to paint a picture of a romatic, almost considerate pirate who only takes what the victim can easily afford?

Sorry to spoil your romaticised picture here. The facts tell a different story.

Attacking a Civilian Tanker of Titanic class that had Luxury Consumer Goods loaded with 3 Roc Bomber class vessels, demanding 5.000.000 first, later 10.000.000 credits, for a cargo of a buy-in value of less than 2.500.000... is telling me that you are just another bunch of merciless pirates without any conscience or morals.

See, I don't mind a few pirates out there on the routes around Sirius. Your ships fall apart in beautiful explosions and look great when viewed from behind in chases. And of course sometimes you also catch one of ours. We all know this is a high risk game, played for money...

So... I only ask you for one thing: Don't pretend to be something you are not.

Just place yourself in the line of those criminal lowlives, try your best, and see what comes for you.

Very dear Mr Henderson,

It is actually a pleasure to have to talk with someone able to put more than 10 words in a single sentence.

So you'll get a civilized answer.

We're not trying to be romantic. We're just trying to feed and educate our children, and the children of fallen friends or unknown people whose lives we happened not to save in time.

Payments to GHOST pilots usually give the right to fly around during 24 hours, so please don't type to fast on your benefits calculator. A ship with 3000 or more cargo makes far more than 10 millions a day, I'm pretty sure of it, although we Galactic Hackers never flew one, at least not to rob a system like Dublin or Edimburgh completely in less than 100 years.

I'm sure we'll have other occasions of discussing that sort of questions. Though I'm not sur who's going to catch who and with what frequency.

Safe flight to you and your friends, as long as you don't cross our way. Otherwise you know where to look fot your pods (Freeport 6 o 1 I guess).
