But the pope Leonardo here cannot grant you such authorization at the drop of a hat...

TAZ is following guidelines regarding tech leasing.
The rules are simple.

- The equipment will be used only in self defense. No bounties hunting. No aggressive behavior regarding anyone.
- You shall not use our weapons against us or our allies... (duh).

TAZ will grant you the usage of those turrets if you agree to those conditions.
If you are found breaking those, authorization will be revoked.

I must admit that Your messages confused me, at first I'm recived privilege of using your guns, then I've recived message what says otherwise.

Whom, I could trust then?

About conditions there is some problem with them...

At first, I'm Inquisitor, paladin of the Gods, holy fighter who protect Gods servants
- that title mean that sometimes I have to, with armed fist punish the Evil, crush enemies.
And since I'm an human after all, I have to eat, replenish ammunition and sleep
- prohibition to Bounty Hunting will cut mine only source of livelihood.
But in the other hand - I shall assure You that I will use that guns only laudable goals.

About second point, I need to know who You are calling an Allies.
If My memory do not trick me - Zoner Nation try to stay in neutral grounds with all people around.

However, as i told you, he cannot on his own allow such a thing.

Only a Polyfather can give you such a permission. Or a Pope having priorly the Polyfathers blessing regarding that request.
Those are John Henry Holliday, Xavier triton, 'Mad' John Rackham, Kyte, and me.

Now let me explain the little issue we have here...
If we granted the usage of our weaponry to everyone, they could quite legitimately blame us for the harm done using our technology.

You are killing people - or destroying their ships - to earn some flax, which is a life choice.
Let's imagine tomorrow you hunt some Malteses... Or corsairs...
What do you think they would do if they learnt we allowed you to use our weapons for that purpose?

Moreover Mr. Matt, laudable goals are quite a subjective notion.
A lot of people did quite some awful things to achieve such objectives.

And what is Evil? Everyone holds evil in his heart... To some extent. And some good too.
But such a Manichean vision isn't how reality bends anyway, don't you think?

Neutrality isn't a fact one can achieve, it's an ideal one can only tend to.
We have good relations with a few people. Reasonably peaceful ones with others.
But -no one- is shooting us on sight... Yet...
Well... Except maybe those Gallic soldiers and... Others sentient beings...

What you are asking could endanger the balance of the Hodge and the Podge.

However... I wonder why you don't try to contact directly Omicron Supply Industries.

I always try to see an light of good in every person heart,
and I only attack when it's last thing to do - when Evil-one do not let me any other choice.
Or I have to act promptly or else some humble servant of gods will suffer.
And even then I only try to destroy an vessel, not kill the sinner,
since even Sinner life is sacred in Gods eyes.

That is true, that there was terrible things done in the name of Laudable Goals,
and the fact is that many people have deviated way to determine what is an Laudable Goal.

Like shepherd guards his flock from wolves - my goal is also simple, protect Gods servants from Evil.

You ask who I call Evil, Evil ones are people who higher value money over human life, the ones who for own greed kill and steal from others.

But I undestand Your position, I shall ask maybe OSI...
