[color=#000000] [color=#000000]Crimanal Justice Act War, strife, and destruction; these are the forces that make up our existence. So great is the force of this cosmic violence that humanity as a whole has discovered more ways to bring harm on our fellow man than we have found ways to grow the food that sustains the very life we hold so dear. Manifested in the blood of innocents that stains whatever soil man sets foot upon, our desire for violence is tied to our very existence as a species. Over the years, people have trod down on the skulls of the innocent in an attempt to gain power for themselves, always looking for someone to oppress in this endless cycle of fighting and destruction. But, for every man to takes a blade to an innocent man'€™s throat, there is another man out there; a warrior seeking to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Some call them vigilantes, others call them heroes. Whatever their name, it is their duty to fight the forces of evil in this war-torn galaxy, until eventually all scores are settled, and balance is returned to the cosmic cycle of life and death. Such is the meaning of justice; the pursuit of balance in an unbalanced world.

Take a walk down memory lane to a place and time in Sirius that exemplified this cosmic struggle between good and evil. Liberty, 797 AS '€“ An era when prosperity was strong, but misery was stronger. Trade between the four houses was booming, and as the unofficial center of commerce in Sirius, Liberty was a place steeped in wealth, and as a result, pirates. Cruel and vicious pilots would take what they wanted from hard working men and women, or put a quick and bloody end to anyone who thought to stand up to them. The large trading companies didn'€™t care about the risks their pilots were taking; their cargo was insured, and it was far cheaper to pay Interspace a monthly fee than it was to pay escorts to keep their workers safe. The police were largely ineffective in combating this rise in crime, as most officers were themselves on the payroll of the criminals they had sworn to fight, and those who actually took their oaths to '€˜protect the people'€™ to heart soon found themselves drummed out of the force and unable to protect the innocents in space. One day, the dangers and pain of living a peaceful and just life became too much for some to handle; They decided that someone had to take a stand against the criminals around them, that something had to be done to protect those who were at the mercy of the cruel and wicked around them, and if they themselves did not stand up, then who would?

These men and women came from all walks of life, and all corners of Sirius. Some were traders whose way of life had been robbed from them. Others were ex-police and military personnel who were looking for a place where they could actually make a difference. Some had just lost the ones they loved, and were looking for revenge on those whose greed had shattered the lives they once held dear. From the nearest planet to the furthest edge world they came, flooding in from all the four houses to listen to what had begun as a whisper, but had grown into a thunderous roar. They met on Curacao, and while the rich and powerful were living in luxury, they banded together to form what would grow to be known as '€œthe Congress of the Abused,'€ an organization that stood for the preservation of law and order for all those who sought protection from the evils of the universe. It was here that these self-appointed '€˜protectors of the stars'€™ would pass their first Sirius-wide '€˜law,'€™ the Criminal Justice Act, which proclaimed that no matter how long it took, or at what cost, if the criminals of Sirius continued to harass the innocent, then justice would be brought down upon them. Rumors of this '€˜Act'€™ quickly spread, and soon, the men and women who were tired of being at the mercy of criminals all had something to look up to.

Three years later, the entire standing body of the Congress of the Abused was assassinated. The local crime bosses didn'€™t like that they had been stirring up trouble amongst the people, and thought to put an end to their naïve ranting before they became too much of a problem. However, in the eyes of those who had held up the Congress as a beacon of hope, their deaths only served to frame them as martyrs, and motivate others to take a stand. Eventually, a brave group of pilots sprung up, and holding the banner of the Congress up high, they took upon themselves the name of the very principle which they would now fight to uphold '€“ At that moment, the Warriors of the Criminal Justice Act stepped into existence, and a new force entered the battlefield of the war between good and evil. Over time, the CJA grew from a small band of volunteer pilots to an elite fighting force, known for its ferocity in battle and its dedication to avenge those who had been harmed by criminals. Funded by a small group of sympathizers around Sirius, the CJA is often outmanned, but never outgunned. They base themselves in Liberty, where the draw of wealth has brought together violent scum from across the universe, hoping to prey on the weak and oppress the innocent. Feared by criminals and distrusted by the government, the CJA has few allies in space, but is not daunted by the incredible odds the force faces every day. To the men and women of the CJA, their destiny is clear; to fight until their last gasp of air or until justice is finally served, the innocent are avenged, and the galaxy they live in is finally brought to a balance.

ID Vigilante
IFF - Liberty navy -
Ships aloud -
Civilian
I suggest use some sort of spellchecker, maybe this one

You have more ranks than Order itself... your faction could be easily done with 3-4 ranks.

Why don't you allow anything besides 2 types of bomber? Fighters are backbone of -every- faction. Add at least Eagle & Sabre.

And I think Vigilante ID suits better than freelancer, permitting you to attack criminals without much problems.

Thank you for your post.
So, you say no gunboats and above? And Freelancer ID/IFF?

Well, just saw [CJA] tagged Outcast Guard IDed Storta and Outcast IDed Trident.
Why "Crimanal" ... the "a" in the middle instead of the "i" is likely intentional, it doesn't make the faction name any better... really. It somehow makes me think about a young man who had watched too much porn stuff and when he types "criminal" the "-nal" automatically demands the "a" in front. *gg*

If it is meant as a play on words... I'd say: find a better wordplay.
If it was unintentional: just fix it fast ;D
A military structure / chain of command for a group of people with a Freelancer ID.

Something doesn't sound right here.

If you want to hunt pirates and terrorists, use something like the Vigilante ID.
I think it'd be interesting if perhaps your group had a strong background in police work, maybe having a lot of ex-police in its ranks.

A diplomay list would also be very helpful. As others have said, i'm going to recommend the Vigilante ID.

Also, I'd suggest adding the civilian eagle line to your list of used ships.

Good idea for a faction, hope it works out well!

Vigilante ID- There is no IFF for this.
You would have to have a Freelancer IFF.
And the thing about having only two types of bombers - Just wanted to fly in style..but then thinking about
the facts.... You are very true in your statement. There needs to be some variety.
And ranks... Its not against the rules. I can add ranks and make it a millitary faction if desired.
I make in non-house - apart from every one because of the drama involved - like people making gossip
and flamming the forums - We did not give you permissions and all of that good stuff
I like adding rank to my faction just because I like Order in it.

And more ranks than order it's self ? Thats kind of odd... why could you no keep order in your own faction? Any ways ...seriously I made the faction because I wanted it to be this way.

Any questions regaurding why I do something in the faction.

This message is to all : I do it because I am aloud to.

I did not really know what IFF the Vigilante should have...did not want people flamming me for the wrong ID
Last thing I need ...it's bad enough all of the people on the forums have to say

stuff like this :

Mallory & Lambert Logistics Says......

Really?
No offence pal...but that was uncalled for.
