Enrico stomped around his villa, playing with a pistol in his hands. He aimed up a few ornamental vases and blasted them in his rage and wandered out to the garden. Taking a seat by the pool, he shot off another few bursts out onto the lawn. One of his slaves brought him a datapad and told him he had a message from Death Runner. He snatched the datapad and read it hurriedly before barking at the slave to leave and furiously typing out a reply.

Since I got back, I knew you'd have something to complain about this, so I thought I'd wait to hear it before heading out again, but now senor, you might have just shot yourself in the foot. Well, metaphorically speaking, I don't believe yours actually work anyway. So yeah I got into some problems with the law, but you seem to be missing a few pointers. Your great syndicate doesn't have the numbers to support escorts for every shipment. With this ridiculous idea of yours the Tepic will make so few runs it'll barely cover running costs, and seeing as just how many times I've been to Liberty and back for you, I am appalled. If I could not handle flying that ship solo, do you think I'd still be alive now? No, I wouldn't! Do you think any of the shipments I made would have even made it through the Taus? No, they wouldn't! And do you think so much cardamine would arrive safely in Liberty? No, it wouldn't!

Look, I'm not new to cardamine smuggling, it's been my life since I can remember. I've flown solo more times than you've had hot meals, and I am still alive. This is not a company, and I am not here to serve mindlessly, I have my own life, my own ship and my own free will. I will become a major player in the Maltan economy regardless of you and your syndicate if need be, but I'd rather not. As long as you intend to have me sit around, YOU are losing a huge opportunity to make a name for the 81 Syndicate by being the Rouge's main supplier for that order of theirs. To that end, I implore you to allow the Tepic to fly solo again, so the Syndicate does not see this orange opportunity fly by.

Enrico called back for the slave, and threw the datapad at him as he approached. Simple violence not calming him, he shot the man right between the eyes before heading inside to find a distraction.

Oh?

Oh really.

You know, that's really interesting and I'm sorry you feel that way.

You seem to be quite the devoted little smuggler. Tell you what Mr. Enrico, how about I garuntee you that you'll be flying whenever, however, wherever you want with your cargo. Hm? That's right, you've got my attention. Taking away your freedom to fly isn't the way to go with this.. is it? In fact, it's completely opposite of what should be done.

So, since you are such a great and outstanding pilot, doing runs here and there, making money for us all.. I will use your abilities. What does that mean, exactly? Oh, nothing. Just that.. if you wake up one day and find you can't differentiate your legs from the floor of the cockpit, or your hands from the throttle and thruster, don't be surprised.

How does that sound, to you? It sounds like a good idea to me. But hey, what do my ideas count for? Your obviously the high and mighty Mr. Enrico Moreno, smuggler warlord of all sirius! The credit cashing machine of the outcast nation! What do you say, pilot? I'll grab the knives and prosthetic limbs with network cabling and be ready whenever you are.

.....Hahahaha! Of course, I am joking. Though my next statement is not a joke. You, Mr. Enrico Moreno, need to tread more carefully. Alas, you shall have your wish. The statistics do show you bring in a nice amount of credits. I revoke my earlier punishment. Now, I suggest you apologize.. and lock your doors.

Regards,
Death Runner

Hey there, Alanzo here. Just checking in.

Been very busy since you lot started construction on that base of yours. I've been shipping the necessary building materials to sustain your project. Been getting them "Ship Hull Panels" from a contact on Planet Kyushu.

Sure beats dragging slaves along in the hold of the "Scintilla", at least this cargo doesn't complain about the cramped conditions. "Help! I can't breathe!", "Are we there yet?" Bleh, makes me want to place a few bullets in their vital organs and string their intestines from the ceiling fan of my apartment. Would have done so a long time ago if it wasn't for you needing them in "working condition".

Well, if you need anything for the base, I'm your guy. You want a fireplace for your office? I'll get it. You want a the head of a Gaian Elpdeer on your mantelpiece? I'll find it. You want a gold plated toilet bowl with built in seat warmer and cupholder? I have no idea where I'll find one, but I'll see what my contacts can get me.

Also, I would like to request clearance to view the supplies on the base. That way, at least I know when supplies are low and can take necessary action.

Alanzo out.

*An old man appears on screen, he talks in a low and weary tone*

Konnichi'wa, Kenichi Shido here, your friendly neighbourhood janitor down by Fuchu Prison. I'm sending this message from Planet Junyo, since any outgoing transmissions from Fuchu will be monitored.

You must be wondering why Salazar-san, or rather "Shibaya-san" hasn't been around lately. He's on board Fuchu Prison. Apparently, he's been arrested by the KNF under the suspicion of having ties with the Syndicate. He is going to go on trial soon.

Don't worry, if Salazar-san wanted to escape, he would have done so a long time ago. He believes he can win this case against the KNF. He believes if he wins, it would put shame to the KNF, for arresting an innocent and will lower suspicion.

He was arrested while carrying "Industrial Materials" so his ship is clean. He also has the necessary forged paperwork and contacts to help him. He says to leave him be for the time being. If for any reason, he loses the case, he has a backup plan to get him out of trouble.

He just wanted me to inform you guys that he'll be fine and will be coming back to business as soon as he is released.

If you need to tell him anything, contact me over this channel and I'll relay it to him.
Arigato,
Kenichi Shido

Oh, a messenger. How lovely.

Tell Salazar he better win the case and keep his mouth shut about our organization or he will endure the most painful punishment I can think of..

And another thing. Tell him not to worry too much, his boss has just became a Don. Hahaha!

Death Runner

Um.. Hello ..*Static*... Wait..*Static*.. There, I haven't used this transmitter in.. Well, actually I've never used it but that's beside the point.

Prior to the past week, I've been getting some affairs sorted down on malta, but now I'm back and rolling, upwards.
I've been bringing supply's to the Arausio Sanctuarium, in which I did a sizeable role in getting a working shield generator.
The supply routes I've been taking have been less than eventful, the most interesting thing to happen would have been the guy in a Heavily Armed and Armoured Ahoudori Class gunboat asking for a few nanobot units.

That's about all really, except from that bloody Kusarian trader but that's a whole other story.
Bye.

Eva, your message barely reached me, and I'm even still in New York. There is nothing we can do right now, but I will contact someone to help you. Hold on.

I hope you even get this transmission.

Sil out.

Right, I know you want a whole proper report, so I'll get that done first before I go getting... yeah, anyways.
Um, Sotha, Eva and I, basic cardi run, blah blah, clear to Cali where Sil left for other business, jumped to NY and boom, hit by the law. Navy to be precise. Usual demands, Navy called in some backup, and somehow, a rogue found us and balanced the odds. Then there was a fight, my ship took a beating. I stood down, yelled at them a bit and dropped the cardi, was actually quite comical at the time, but I don't got the time now. Started to fly off, but didn't pay the so called 'fine' so shooting started up again. I got out, and made it to Buffalo, the rogue and Eva fought the law.

Next thing I know, the rogue's back at buffalo, tells me they took down a gunny and that Eva's lost. Not dead, missing. The navy, or LSF or somesuch, were busy heckling her fr running away over the system-wide comms, so she's sure alive. Skipping on repairs, I went huntin'. The rogue, who's name's beyond me right now, said she's headed in Rochester direction, I started there.

On my way, got that distress call from her. It's been relayed, but the damn Junkies had no other info, she could be freakin' anywhere. I'd spent to damn long looking alone and needed to come back to get some backup. More eyes out there, si? Grabbed some of the crud for the base on my way too. Bumped into some grimy freelancer, moaning about slaves and this and that. He didn't seem to care much though, so struck a bit of a deal and he's gone back to look for Eva too.

Anyhoo, cutting to the chase, the filters are offloaded, the Tepic's repaired, and I'm heading back to Liberty to find her. This ain't a question. I've yelled around the bar, I've wrangled a few other outcasts, and we will find her.

That's it. Time's a wastin', I'm off.
