Honourable leadership body of the Gas Miners Guild.

Going through scourging fire and chilling ice, the Board of Directors of the Daumann Heavy Construction came to the conclusion that our position is in dire need of improvement and thus we require reliable partners, even more: friends. It did not take much thought to see the direction which we could turn and what is the real threat to our share of the market and general bussiness. Daumann is looking to the future and there is but one milestone which could solve this encirclement at home by the infamous Krüger Minerals and the ALG Waste Disposal, the solution we see is mutual friendship and trust between Daumann and the Gas Miners Guild. We all are aware of the dangers posed by Krüger and the ALG, we know of the cold war situation in the Sigma 13 system and we clearly see which side deserves to take its place among the stars, that side being your side. We have common foes both in market and in general terms and despite our past it is essencial to finally realize how beneficial our partnership could be. It is all common knowledge how much Daumann urged and supported the war effort of Rheinland against your rightful claims in the Sigma Cluster back then. But nowadays decade by decade, year by year, month by month the more less people are aware of with what actually that disastrous war begun and kept running: Krüger. It was them who barked into the bussiness of the Gas Miners, it was them who first agitated the Empire of Rheinland to solve the tensions on the field of battle and it was them who encouraged Daumann to stand by their side in the continuation of the war. Daumann from them on had deep role in the events, however it was most simply a bussiness opportunity to exploit as it was necessary to stay in the market by manufacturing warships for our homeland. However soon we uncovered the true nature of how Krüger wished to lure us into the trap of financial breakdown and public opinion, being blamed for things we did not commit and them finally getting away with it

Many years have passed and Krüger's seeds matured into deadly thorns ready to strangle all those who are obstacles to them, and their partnership with the ALG is a direct threat to both Daumann and the Guild. If Daumann will be no more and Rheinland would be in the grasp of them, who would be their next preferred victims? But now while we still can, we should get to know each other and discover how many opportunities an agreement of mutual friendship could bring. Being apart from you we will lose, together with you we would stand and be strong. The Gas Miners Guild are proficient in extracting valuable gases and putting them for sale on the market, transporting them and making good use of their trade. While we from Daumann know well how to handle ore mining plus ship, goods and machinery production. Clearly we can not step onto each others way as our market interests are clearly our own and non-conflicting with each other, thus if this mutual friendship could arose we basicly could watch each other's backs on the Sirian Market and even in general daily matters. Imagine if Kishiro could be interested in cooperation as well: their supreme technology, the Gas Miners' fuel and Daumann's spaceships, metals and both light and heavy machinery. Imagine what fabulous wonders we could erect all around Sirius, bringing its people together instead of setting them apart, the days of Golden Age for our corporations and finally all of our employees getting their fair shares of our successes. As sadly after years of hardship and decline, it is not our - by now - weeded out corruption what ruins the lives of our workers, but the perile Krüger and ALG brought upon us

In light of economic participation in the 80-years war against your miners, Daumann would be more than ready to wipe away our differences once and for all by offering compensation for our indirect hostility during those times and not noticing who our real enemies already were so many-many years ago. But what could be the true way of bringing us close to each other and developing the friendship and trust we long for so much? That would be to start working together, in our everydays and also not on just small but on a large scale. We need to start everything with a wonderful milestone of common good, a prestigious non-profit monument of manifested benevolence toward a third party: the Zoners. We are planning to offer these people the reconstruction of Freeport 7, and this would be the best first opportunity for Daumann and the GMG to start building a common future of possible great things. Daumann would manufacture and transport the needed materials free of charge, the Gas Miners would fuel our engines and the Zoners would feed our workers. Rebuilding this station not only would be a great accomplishment and prestige to our corporations, but also revitalising the trade and commerce in the Sigmas to their former status

If all these propositions require much of further discussions, the Daumann Heavy Construction is whole-heartedly prepared to go through all of them to finally sign this much needed mutual pact of friendship, and develop trust in each other by working together. Yes, together not apart, to shape a wonderful future for the both of us.

Walter Daumann,
CEO
Daumann Heavy Construction

Message reads:

Konnichiwa Walter-sama,

Domo arigato for contacting us. I can't express how thrilled we are at potentially improving our relations with our Rheinland neighbours and glad we are in the decision to reopen our shared borders.

You did touch upon a soft spot concerning Kruger. As you may know we still forbid them any entry into our space. The lack of recompense and their continued administration of Mannheim Stations is an ongoing affront to us at GMG and we prefer to currently continue to deny them access to our clouds.

You contacted us at a fortuitous time, Walter-sama. The question of securing an increase of mineral resources has come up within the GMG Council as well as many issues involving structural engineering. It may very well be that we have alot to talk about if your proposal is sincere. Please, let us meet together and discuss in detail what our two great organizations can do for each other. If things go well there is something we would like to show you.

Looking forward,
Guild Master Raikoke
