The Gustavo family is a Corsair family of ancient lineage. Their dynasty can be traced far back to the cradle of humanity, the Sol system and planet Earth.
The Gustavo family has endured a terrible series of events in their long years, but in particular the infamous Nomad attack of the SS Cadiz, and the consequent slaughter of men women and children is a dark chapter of family history.
Official records show that even after the lifeboats had jettisoned from the vessel following the merciless attack, the Nomads intercepted and waylaid the pods: All but one were destroyed.
That one remaining vessel fell into the orbit of an unknown wasteland planet, and from the derelict wreckage, a single survivor managed to activate the rescue beacon.
10 year old Sergio Gustavo pledged on that day to wipe all traces of the Nomad scourges from the Sirius system.
Sergio was rescued by the Corsair military, and, as was the fate of all Corsair orphans, was placed into the harsh effective hands of the military academy.
He serves today as the grim commander of one of the most ruthless Corsair battleships in Sirius space. His renowned pilot skills have been earned by years of combat experience in fighters and gunships, and he has trained the 50 men and women that serve under him to match their skill with an equal ferocity and hatred for the alien menace.
Recently Sergio has discovered that he has two surviving siblings from his father's side:
