Guten Tag, meine Damen und Herren

Today I almost died from a heart attack when the Rorry's Renegades suddenly changed their (up to now benevolent) policy towards me. As I know from earlier conflicts that have been defused by Hessians, I know that you have some bargaining power when it comes to them. Consequently I am calling you now.

But I should start at the beginning:

For the last days, there has been intensive hauling activity through the Omegas to finish the Falster construction. The completion of this major project is important, not only for the IMG. So I struck a deal with the Renegades which was a simple passage fee of 2 million credits per ship per hour. Everything seemed fine. Until today.

I ran into them again, after already having paid, but Rorry himself seemed to be completely mad and really scared the heck out of me. He also effectively blockaded the trade route for quite some time as no trader in his mind would dare to use that main route any more. Only when the Hessian raid against the O7 Kruger base took place, they left their piracy positions and headed out.

You can see the normally friendly way in which I approach the Renegades, knowing that they (normally at least) understand that we are not their main targets. I don't mind paying a little - it's live and let live - but they scared me a lot and I am not sure any more that the "let live" is still valid when they meet me again.

I guess, I really don't know now. It seemed all to be settled but today showed me that is clearly is not. Even if I assume that many threats were likely not meant as harsh as they were uttered on a second reading, it remains - you will agree hopefully - a situation in which cargo transportation is next to impossible.

I know that the IMG| is rather preoccupied with our own base, but once this one has been finished with the last major construction (energy core level 4 that is being built now), this base will be of a big mutual benefit.

Now, as I know that you already once influenced the Renegades into a softer stance towards the IMG, I thought you might be interested in what happened today.

this is Stephen Schwerdtfeger contacting the Hessian Movement Leadership because of the behaviour and change of policies of the criminals that call themselves Rorry Renegades.

Ms. Morrow submitted the report that she sent to you directly also to me and while that incident did not end in any actual act of piracy, and "only" resulted in an act of intimidation and threatening of Guildmembers, this has changed since then.

Let me clarify: Our shippers do not mind to pay a small fee to cross a system unscathed. We had an inofficial agreement according to various IMG transport pilots that suggested that passage would mean a payment of 2 million credits per hour per ship, something we do not regard as a grave obstruction of our activities.

Now, this has changed to an inacceptable status. The Rorry's line of business seems to be now: 2000 units of cargo and sometimes money. You can see the first definition of that new rules in Ms. Morrow's report, and also in the new incident in which this was actually put to use.



As I said, we can accept a certain amount of problematic company around our trade runs, but we will not accept our base supply efforts to be slowed down. Demands of 50 % of the cargo are inacceptable.

I hope the Red Hessians Movement can make the Renegades reconsider.
