Technical Information
/indent\The core of our device is created using a proprietary and patented process which uses time-dependent magnetic fields to reorient the neural wiring of silicon-based xenomorphic life forms in an optimal configuration. The device itself operates by inducing extreme voltage spikes at high frequency across this piece of biocircuitry. High density fuel is necessary to provide the high level of electrical power required to maintain this unique current profile. The connecting circuits are manufactured with gold-alloy wiring in order to exploit the high conductivity of elemental gold. We are thus able to obtain an extremely low resistance in the auxiliary circuit, resulting in manageable thermal dissipation. Additionally, the high gold content in the circuitry protects the device from corrosion.

Therefore, we protect the components of the auxiliary circuit with a layer of our own formulation of Mu-Metal—a cheap nickeled iron alloy which exhibits high magnetic permeability. However, when such conductive material neighbors a current profile such as ours, image currents abound in the material. Our high-energy system requires a way to handle these image currents while not dissipating excessive heat from the device. Thus, the Mu-Metal layer is then coated with a layer of gold substrate, which bears the brunt of these image currents and, as a side benefit, protects the nickeled iron from corrosion.
