I don't know which facton you belong to, nor you've told me the faction the person shooting at you belonged to. But just to help you, here's the Freeport 10's NFZ policies.

Quote:1. The No-Fire Zone covers a 10 kilometre sphere around Freeport 10
2. The No-Fire Zone is an area in which no offensive actions against a Zoner is allowed. This includes attempts at piracy/taxation, the use of weapons (guns, missiles, mines), and intentional ramming.
3. Violating a No-Fire Zone can lead to immediate prosecution and engagement, by the stations security assets and/or any Zoner pilot present.
4. Part two includes stray shots that land upon the Freeport itself.
5. Two kilimetre sphere around freeport 10 in which no Capital Class vessel may reside, except for repairs and docking purposes. Gunboats are not included with in this. All Zoner Capital Class Vessels are free to reside with in this buffer zone.

I hope you will be able to tell me which policy in question was broken against you when you reply.

Good day Mr Cortez,

Different Freeports have different No Fire Zone policy's. Freeport 10's NFZ policy does not apply to any non-zoner for protection. And this has been the case at freeport 10 for well over a year now. Also there is a location for which you can read all the different policies of each Freeport. Found here. You'll also see that Freeport 10's NFZ is built upon the Standard NFZ, for also does not protect non-zoners.

Er. Sorry, The NFZ is clear, no aggressive actions against a ZONER. And our policy does not change. It has been this way for over a year.

If you want it changed to protect others, then my advice to you is to pressure the Maltese Government to make amends for there predeccors diplomatic damages caused by them upon to the Freeport. Thats if you really want protection with in the NFZ Mr Cortez.

Dear Mr. Vontaan,

I’ve enjoyed famous Zoner’s hospitality many times. I actually like to drop by to any Freeport bar and order a glass or two of your non-alcohol vodka. It is exotic experience to see so many pilots at war, but not hating each other there, even having a good time. Or making business.

But, there is always a rotten soul that needs to bring horrors of war even to your forts of freedom and trade. I’d like you to take care of one of them, please. I’m just a simple APM trader that saved his ship and cargo many times thanks to Freeport NFZ. My ID is BHG, my tag is Bounty Hunter.

Name of that young and rude cruiser captain is Abbadon, ID as showed HERE. He violated NFZ policies 2, 4 and 5.

I was just at FP10 entrance, talking with two polite Junkers there, when he came and tried to rob one of them for 10 mill. No real violations so far, but rude, very rude... Recordings:

We tried to talk him to sense just a little more, but it just made him lost his temper and he destroyed my ship instantly. My valuable cargo was lost, but I will buy new one. But lifes... how to buy new lifes for all those innocent civilians that died in FP10 in missile blast? Looks like HERE. Luckily, I managed to reach my escape-pod in the last moment. What to do with a person like this? Let him kill more civilians whenever he sees an enemy docking to FP10?

Strange, this is rather strange that you have hacked a Outcast transmission file. But I digress.
Lets see here you have a complaint for breach's of Freeport 10's NFZ. Those in question are outside policies 2, 4 and 5. The first one, noting records you have given me, in that he tried to pirate yourself, he is well in his rights to do so as well as shoot you. Only Zoners are protected under policy 2. Which brings me to the records where upon you say he was firing on Zoner rookies in the area. Problem is you have given me no proof of this, till I have some I can't really do much about that.
Next, accidental fire upon the freeport itself. Damage reports have come in, our sheilds held up fine though they took a pounding I believe which also brings me to policy 5 and that the Outcast was Captaining a Capitol ship with in 2 clicks of the freeport with no intention to use the allowances the freeport administration has given.

We shall be contacting this captain in question, if nothing comes of this we are likely to contact the Maltese Government.
