Hello there, I'm Dr. Clark Warrell Head Master of Dryhtlic University we have had words in the past and don't always seem to see eye to eye but we have had nothing but a peaceful trading relationship in the past. My main fundraiser who will remain nameless (becuase of his own wish's) fly's the firefly named Sobuor,are ship marked (DU)Sobuor has for some months now been shipping food rations and Pharmaceuticals to planet Ceret to help the Corsair people living there and in return we at Dryhtlic University have been allowed take artifacts from Ceret for study by are own researchers, and then sale when we have learned all we can from them. now i'm told that in the Omicron Kappa are trade ship (DU)Sobuor was stopped by a Corsair pilot and first give 20 sec's to pay up 5,000,000 credits or be destroyed . when he ask why he was told he was stealing artifacts from the corsair people. He explaned that he had payed from them on planet Ceret. he was told he was stealing and given 5 sec to pay the 5 mill... before he could explane the Corsair pilot destroyed his ship for not paying. now the Captain of the firefly Sobuor escaped in a life pod but lost the data recorder of the and thuse lost the details on the ship that attacked him but from his memory, he say's it was not marked with any of the main Corsair groups Benitez Family, the Black Sails or the Brotherhood. but as i know a thing or two about laws in the Sirius sector. as i am a teacher of law at Dryhtlic University i know them every well and will quote something from your own laws. from section III. Trading laws and regulations

17.b) Neutral transports or freighters passing through Corsair territory empty or with insignificant amounts of cargo may be taxed. It is recommended to impose a reasonable tax (starting from 500 000 SC but it may be raised if they show hostility or refuse to cooperate) and to encourage their pilots to trade with the Empire, either by bringing us useful commodities or buying artifacts


it seems to me that your pilot was in the wrong and if we have continued attack's of this type against Dryhtlic University Fundraisers we will be forced to stop are food and medical Aid runs to Planet Ceret which the people there desperately need.

I hope you will do something to prevent this from happening in the future
if we manage to find anymore information on exactly who did this we will pass it along

Yes becuase of the lack of any proof I did not expect there would be much the honored Corsair Court could do for us. but I felt we should let you know these things are going on at any rate. As for your offer of escort`s in and out of your systems i thank you and will pass the word to are Humanitarian AID and Fundraising division, that they will find friends among the Benitez Family, when shipping to and from Planet Ceret and to call on the Benitez Family to insure there safe passage throw Corsair systems.
