I regret to inform you of a rogue "Thanatos" cruiser with Colonial Republic papers by the name of [color=#FF9900]=::UPPC::=_Priest that has been operating within the borders of Liberty. The captain of this vessel has been warned repeatedly regarding Section 3 Subheading V of the Laws of Liberty with respect foreign capital vessels inside our borders, yet has flagrantly and willfully ignored these warnings. Its captain has claimed to be in our House on a diplomatic mission, yet it bears no CR| tag and I am not aware of any Communication Channel request that it has put in.

Today is has pushed the good will of the Republic of Liberty too far, and we were forced to deal with it. The following are logs and confirmation from our Secondary Fleet forces that show its disregard for the safety of our citizens and the rule of our law.

We engaged and took out the vessel. The captain of the vessel survived and reportedly will now seek to engage any Liberty Navy vessel in or near your system. I am Commander Roger Anders, currently in charge of the Colonial Military while Admiral Babchenko is in ill health. Thank you for coming to us about this... problematic individual.
This individual is known to us after an encounter with one of the independent haulers in our employ. The captain of the transport forwarded the information to us immediately, and my niece - Flight Officer Susan Anders - continued the discussion.

As you can see, this person has been manipulated from birth by a now-absent father and has some deep-seated delusions regarding both of our nations, manifesting in aggressive actions against yours. It would also appear that the father managed to either steal or deceitfully acquire a Thanatos Cruiser and possibly a Kronos Battleship, which is particularly disturbing.

As you have said, do not take this individual as a representative of the Republic's diplomatic intentions concerning Liberty. I will give word for our forces to watch for this ship, and we will try to talk him down before another incident happens.
If you are threatened in the Cortez or Coronado system, we will attempt to suppress the individual if needed.

In the meantime, may we continue our cooperation against the Outcast and Gallic threats.
