Ah, right. Buenos dias, senoras y senores. I am Kyouko Makita of the Independent Zoners Trading
Initiative—or IZTI for short. Which is just a fancier name for the group consisting of myself and my
friend and partner, Yuuko Kisaragi.

More onto the point. Under the advisory of the Corsair Codex articles twenty-four, I am giving
advanced notice that Yuuko and I will be passing through Corsair territory under the premise of
trade, including the Omicron Gamma system. A detailed manifest of our trade route can be supplied
upon request.

However, I am also sending this messages as advanced notice in the case of article twenty-six. I
am the captain of a Zoner "Fearless" Class Cruiser, the Homura, which I have had constructed for
the purposes of defending myself and Yuuko, captain of the Zoner "Whale" Class Transport, the
Horo, from the likes of Nomads, and more opportunistic Outcasts, of whom we've had an
unfortunate few run-ins with. That said, while maintaining the Zoner philosophy of true neutrality, I
would also like to take this moment to extend my opinion during this wonderfully high encrypted
transmission, that I am not the biggest fan of the Outcasts, their allies, or anyone who deals with
the poison known as Cardamine, and as such would, under most circumstances, completely withhold
myself from trading with them.

Anyway, anyway... Once again, restating that while I am in possession of a "warship" and am
currently considered a neutral party, I would like to establish friendlier connections with the Corsair
Empire, especially in light of the news of the Empire's less than stellar condition in terms of food and
pharmaceuticals—both of which are part of the planned trade route to Planet Crete.

I take it from your words that you wish to pass by the heart of our grand empire with the goal of doing business elsewhere?
At the same time you mention your fellowship wishes to conduct trade with planet Crete in the future....

Our people have a history with Zoner warships coming as close as Crete's orbit during the historic ''Zoner conflicts''.
Naturally there is a high chance various Corsair militias would react upon seeing a foreign warship breaching the defense grid of Omicron Gamma.

There are certain precautions one can take , contacting us has been a wise first step.
Registering at the empire's Department of goods liberation and trade would be a wise second step.
This way your fellowship can prove it's loyal to the empire , and a valuable trading partner.
When this has been done , we may speak about allowing your fellowship to use Omicron Gamma as a pass through system , and even allowing your warship to navigate past our defenses , for a defined time and under Corsair escort.

Thank you for your prompt reply, Mr. Alphonso.

It is unfortunate that tensions due to past grievances have been created by these aforementioned
"Zoner Conflicts".

However, your precautions and the requirement to have a Corsair Escort through your systems are
understandable, fair and, most of all, acceptable. We had been planning to make claims in the
Department of goods liberation and trade as soon as we made our first shipment—unless I've been
reading the procedures incorrectly—but ran into that snag with the Corsair Laws.

Myself and Yuuko are currently stationed at Planet Gran Canaria, in the Omega-49 System and are
looking forward to the moment we may depart. With that in mind, we can be contacted via Low
Frequency Uni-Directional Burst Transmissions over the Neural Net at the following transponders:
IZTI-Homura and IZTI-Horo.

I know it hadn't been requested, but, enclosed in this transmission is the projected routes that
we will be taking in our trade.
