Born on Planet Orleanais, Adelaide attended a prestigious school. The model student, Adelaide graduated with top honors and was in line for multiple scholarships and a bright future. Everyone talked about how brilliant Adelaide was, how she would bring the Roux name from being lowly Barons up further, maybe even to Comte! But, instead, Adelaide disappeared for six years, and reappeared as the Directeur of the Office of Naval Intelligence. She was a capable directeur who was dropped in suddenly, with no warning and no preparation. Her rise to the limelight of ONI was quick and seemless; the entire Office had been degrading into a corrupt squabble of useless agents, but when Roux came in, it all died down. Sometimes, literally.

In those six years, Adelaide had again risen to the top of her class at Sword Base, the expectation she was forced to live up driving her, followed closely by Lelouch D'Aramis and Acadia Celeste, the former who ended up as Adelaide's best friend and frequent bedmate, and the later a loyal friend and assistant. She rose to the Directeurship upon the loss of the Prowler and most of the senior staff, and wielded it as best as she could until the absorption into the Royal Navy. Adelaide was made a Marechal and continued to direct ONI until she was made the Grand Marechal the day Aurelia DeFrance resigned as head, from which she gave the Office to Lelouch D'Aramis. Rumor around the Office say she did it because the two were lovers, but the true reason was Lelouch was someone that Adelaide trusted to always do the right thing. The morally right thing. She is adamant that relationships can be carried out by co-workers, and she proves so every day.

Adelaide gets home whenever she can to check on her family, especially Amelie, who is sickly and must stay home for her own health. She spends most, if not every minute, of her leave and free time fretting over Amelie, hoping that something could be done to give her a normal life.That is another reason that Adelaide had chose the Office of Naval Intelligence; the vast resources could be served to help her young sister, a mission she has not wavered from. Rumors flew regarding this, but ultimately were dismissed, thanks to interventions from Lelouch and Acadia.

Adelaide, after becoming the Grande Marechal, stepped up what she could for the war, bringing in Julie Bonheur to help with the offensive. She then began to branch out slightly, stepping up her offensives little by little. Throughout this attempt, she both has gained allies and been forced to berate Lelouch for his tendencies to piss people off, a power the man wields like a sword.

Not much is recorded about Ansel Xavier. He was born on Planet Marne after the successful Council uprising, but he left his parents early and took to the stars.

Office of Naval Intelligence Records surmise that Xavier joined as an underhand on a Brigand Transport, Adeline. The previous owner of the ship was soon found dead, and Xavier took over the ship. They further record many operations to capture the smuggler, but they never succeeded.

Xavier was briefly listed as a suspect in the assassination of a Baron on Planet Orleans and destruction of the town he was in, but charges were dropped due to a lack of evidence. In his time as a Brigand, he was recorded as having many dealings with fellow Brigands and the Sirian organization known as the Outcasts.

Then he suddenly disappeared from Gallia, having left for an unknown destination. He returned a year later, and received a pardon from Grand Marechal Roux for all crimes. His meteoric rise in the Royal Navy from there has left many perplexed and jealous, but none have been able to doubt the command potential Xavier has.

As a Marechal, Xavier has been a keen advocate of Guerrila Warfare around Bretonian fortifications, logistical blockades as well as carrying out a limited resource campaign against Liberty, gnawing at their defenses in preparation for the main invasion.

He is charged with the formation of the Gallic Foreign Legion, a group of mercenaries and soldiers recruited from all over Sirius, lending their various and expert services in exchange of substantial salaries and rewards. The Foreign Legion is handling the brunt of the limited war campaign against Liberty.

Observers note but one thing, Xavier is a ruthless and callous Military Commander, although he's used the forces at his disposal with prudence most of the time. Several reports indicate that there may be more to the man than indicated, and that he may not have completely disconnected from his old life.

Born to a wealthy family, as the youngest of three children, Valérie already showed at a young age that she would not be the typical woman who would one day play the role of the housewife who would take care of her children. Her father, who has a successful past in the Gallic Royal Navy, was probably her most important influence in her life. Listening to the stories about her father’s military life or military things in general fascinated Valérie, and that at a rather young age.

Such a behaviour of course worried her mother, but she did not manage to change Valérie, even though she tried everything she could. In the end she gave up and allowed her to go to military academy once she turned eighteen and it was her first step on a career that would be closely connected with risks, but also with glory. In the years she spent on the academy, she started to think about the general situation of Gallia. For whom would she fight in the future? It did not take long before she knew the answer, she would not fight a person, no, she would fight for Gallia and would do everything to ensure its prosperity.

After she graduated from the academy, Valérie spent a long time in the secondary fleet, and slowly improved her skills in both combat and leadership. With small steps she slowly climbed up in the rank hierarchy, up to the point when she was selected to serve as Maréchal in the Gallic Royal Navy primary fleet. She realized that people acknowledged her hard work, and she felt herself extremely comfortable with holding such a power within the Navy.

However, some say that Maréchal Quétineau is a cruel person, who will not hesitate to sacrifice pilots if there is a chance to win, but they can all agree with each other that she is a person who would sacrifice herself for Gallia if she had to. Valérie is a person who generally avoids to show any emotions, but that changes once she is dealing with her niece, Camille Delacroix, who has recently joined the Navy. It does appear that the determined woman is not only focused on the military.

Personal History / Biography:

Born on Planet Marseille, Julie grew up fascinated with various works of art and history, specifically history that dated back thousands of years prior and up to the Alliance's exodus from Sol. Despite her love for history and politics, her father had different plans for her and her sister. Once she was old enough to handle a weapon (being relatively young) her father had begun putting them through rigorous training, all with the intent of creating the perfect soldier to protect the Royal Family.

Every day before and after school, training would be conducted with various exercises from mental to physical. The rough training schedule left little time for a social life, and only concluded once they hit their early twenties, when Julie was selected to serve in the Royal Guard.

Having received specialized training from her father prior to being deployed to the Royal Guard academy on Planet Angers, Julie graduated at the top of her class and was among eight others, personally handpicked by Prince Joseph DeFrance himself. She faithfully served the Prince for eight consecutive years, four of which as the head of the Prince's personal guard. Though it's rumored that there has been some sort of relationship between Prince Joseph and Julie, though neither have fully admitted to it.

During her last year of service with the Royal Guard, Julie received a personal communication from the recently inaugurated Grand Maréchal, Adelaide Roux, whom had requested her to serve on the front-lines of the invasion into Sirius. While she didn't want to serve in the war on the front-lines, she accepted the request out of respect for the new Grand Maréchal, and eventually made her way to the Battleship Villeneuve, where she took command of the Gallic Expeditionary Fleet.

Due to her continued service, and attempt at setting humane war terms she was recently given the status of Duchess and the system of Provence as her duchy. This had elevated her families status to nobility, despite the controversy within the Bonheur family.
