Within the past year Mollys and Hogosha have gone from trying to kill each other to trading partners. Twice before Mollys have neared full independence from Bretonia only to see it fall away because there was no trade infrastructure built between our territory and that of the other houses.

No nation can survive in complete isolation and to survive after gaining independence, we must have trade. The freedom bought by the blood of our predecessors is precious and must not be wasted. We must retool our nation to prepare for the challenge we already face to maintain and improve our position in the universal economy. And this much is certain: Dublin will not have national security without economic security.

It is to this effect that I send this message. The war between Kusari and Bretonia is over. Mollys and Hogosha fought tooth and nail against each other in the past, but are now trade partners. In the past prior Molly governments fought against the Kusari military alongside the BAF. In the past, our treatment immediately following was to be fired upon by the BAF whom our Mollys were trying to assist. The current existing Molly government does not ally itself with the Bretonian military. We seek our independence from this corrupt and abusive state and find no reason to support it with Mollly blood. That which brings the downfall of the Bretonian Crown only aids us in our quest for freedom.

I stated before that the war between Bretonia and Kusari has ended, but has it? While there are no more Kusari battleships engaged in warfare against the BAF, the Crown continues its bloodshed against Kusari. Samura and Kishiro shipping is daily destroyed within Bretonia territory. Peaceful ships attempting peaceful trade in He3 and other commodities are vaporized by Bretonian military and police on a daily basis. We have seen Samura ships destroyed simply for trying to bring basic supplies to the remnant of the Kusari fleets. Let there be no doubt that while Kusari ended the war, Bretonia continues it by proxy in the continual destruction of Kusari trade ships.

We know that the most fundamental responsibility of Government is to ensure the safety of its people and to protect and ensure its trade and national security. We have a mutual trade partner, the house of Gallia. For more than six months Mollys have taken their fight against Bretonia to include engagement of Bretonian police and military found to be firing upon Kusari shipping. Our ships pass yours while doing peaceful trade within the Gaul house and we exist peacefully there. It is proof that we can co-exist in a peaceful manner while engaging in the life blood of any nation, trade.

The Mollys wish to open trade with Kusari, to show that we can co-exist within the boundaries of each others' territory; to strengthen our mutual economies; and lay the infrastructure of continued and future peace with each other through mutual growth and trade. We have no quarrel with Kusari, ours is with the corrupt and oppressive government of Bretonia, who instead of fair wages and safe working conditions for its people, choose instead the way of jack booted thugs to slay their opposition.

Let us show you in your space and ours that we can trade peacefully and work our way towards official recognition of our political movement as Gallia has already done. For this, Mollys will escort, when available, Kusari transports within Bretonia, and we will grant license to Samura to mine within Dublin and utilize our base facilities.

Allow us to show Kusari by our actions rather than words, that our war is with the Bretonian Crown and not your nation. We know from the continued treachery of the Crown that alliances too easily forged are also too easily broken. Allow us to earn each others' trust over time to prove ourselves to each other, to forge the bonds of neutrality into a possible friendship over time.

First allow me to personally thank you for sending this transmission.
I am also of the mind that the Bretonian/Kusari war is over.
Before continuing further, I must ask some questions for the sake of clarity, I would hate for any misunderstanding in this case, I hope you understand.

It would seem that the Molly movement is requesting a formalising of relations between Kusari and the Mollys of Dublin.
An opening of trade between both groups and even an agreement to open Dublin to Samura mining activities.
I am sure you have weighed the value of an offer such as this before making this communication, and from where I sit, it is indeed enticing.
Kusari has always had a need for the gold of Dublin and I don't see this changing anytime soon.

What is it that you are asking for in return, is it only the aforementioned opening of trade?
Maybe a formal recognition of your sovereignty on open communication networks like we have seen from both the Gallics and Coalition recently?
Or maybe some form of assistance against the Bretonian House?

I always feel better knowing the expectations that are involved in these kinds of talks.
Again please understand that Samura is in a delicate situation at the moment and we can only continue with clear understanding.
