Hello IMG Administrators, I contact you with great news. While visiting Tau 23 on board the Escort Ship "Reaper" during a recent Revenue Extraction Mission. We came across a very polite IMG Employee named Julia Murrow.

She invited me to Tau XX to show me IMG's latest construction venture, a base called Fort Siloso. She explained to me that it had just completed final construction but was undergoing some final security upgrades.

Well Gateway Shipping Inc has been looking to secure its first real supply contract so I suggested our group could supply your base with the essentials needed to keep it going along with anything else it requires in exchange for a few incentives!

I also noticed this base like Falster has an Ore Store, if we could come to some kind of agreement where we supply your base in exchange for free ores on Siloso this could help both our groups succeed very well in achieving our corporate goals. We need a real cash flow to compete with Bowex and you need that a stress-free base operation!

So, What do you guys say? I await your answer in anticipation

p.s. please thank Julia for the tea she offered us in Siloso's Bar.

**** TO: Gateway HQ ****

Dear Mr. Gehard,

thank you for contacting me after the initial contact with Ms. Morrow. It's good to hear from our Gateway allies.

Before finding some ways of cooperating, I need to make sure we are all on the same page when it comes to working together in secrecy. Why in secrecy? Gallia would send a few hundred marines to Java when they get the impression that the IMG houses Gateway on Java.

Java sensor crews reported Gateway fighting ships (a gunboat and a freighter) activities, operations aimed at attacking Gallic trade.

The IMG is neutral in the conflict, and even if it is a forced neutrality, we want to keep it.

Therefore any cooperation has to be strictly secret. We cannot group communications because Gallic Intelligence Services check the freqencies.

Gateway ships cannot operate from Java because Java is just too visible and under scrutiny by GRN and GRP.

We can offer Gateway vessels docking rights at Fort Siloso, all bases in T39 and on Falkland, T37.

Gateway ships cannot dock at IMG stations when in visible range or under fire by Gallic ships.

Freeport 10 is an option for docking when chased. The Gallics hate the Zoners anyway and no one cares for Zoner Freeport trouble anyway.

I think this explains the general difficult situation under which the IMG operates in the Taus. I regret that we cannot operate openly as allies, but the Taus have changed and we had to adapt operations.

About your suggestion: Fort Siloso operates as a 24/7 ore distribution depot. The base always buys at 3500 cr./unit and sells for the same price. The prices can only be changed by a base administrator who is not always present. In addition I think that 3500 cr./unit is a rather good price (selling in Liberty and Berlin at about 10.000 cr./unit).

If Gateway wants to help supplying, I would suggest the following easy and standardized procedure:

Your ships bring in Basic Alloys, or a mix of 1/3 cargo hold of Food/Water/Oxygen, for which fair prices are set, and take the ore for the given value.

A stable supply of Siloso cannot be outsourced to Gateway because the Taus are too dangerous for you to operate in day after day, but of course your shipments would be highly appreciated, as they help our shippers with their daily jobs.

If Gateway wants to supply an IMG base, I would suggest to work closer with Falster Trade Center in Omega 3. It's a region in which we can be seen operating together and no political consequences are to be expected.

Ah, concerning the Omegas: Please do not base your raid wings from IMG bases like Aland or Falster and do not flee to IMG bases after you struck your enemies. The IMG doesn't want to be drawn into the fights. Freeport 1 is safe and no one cares about them so much, while Bretonia always knocks at my door if something goes wrong. They love to make my job harder.

I regret to make this so hard for you, but cooperation is not so easy as it might seem. I still hope, we can find ways of cooperating.

I am looking forward to your answer.

Jack Henderson
