Greetings.

I'm uncertain whether this message will reach any destination at all, but if it does, i'm interested in a discussion. I also apologize for the lack of formal introductions or video-feeds, though it's best to play safe at first, under these circumstances.

Then again, it has reached my ears that you are an important figure within the ranks of former KNF Officers that fight the Kusari Naval Forces. If that is the case - i'm curious about your reasons - and if you're open to discussing, perhaps you may gain another ally in this.

Reply to this transmission if you're curious or interested.

Colonial Republic Transmission.

Sadly I observe this message may have indeed been sent towards an inexistent recipient, though i'll leave the channel open for 36 more hours, just in case.

Colonials,

As admiral Sakamoto is understandably very busy at this time, it is my pleasure to answer this transmission in his stead.
Our relations with the Colonial Republic have not been very friendly in the past and so we will be very cautious in this matter. First and foremost we wish to stay on neutral grounds with your nation. Our only concern is Kusari right now and we don't need quarrels with the inhabitants auf the Taus.

As for the reason of our struggle, just know this:
We're fighting to remove the current admiral of the Kusari Naval Forces from power as he can not be allowed to stay in that position without Kusari coming to harm.
In this process we're trying to harm the members of the Naval Forces as little as possible, for they simply don't know better.

May you find your path.

Hideaki Ishikawa

Well met, Mister Ishikawa.

Seeing that you've responded, please allow me to introduce myself. I am Aidan White, Director of the Colonial Intelligence Service.

Now, i am glad to observe that not all of Kusari is so bent on war with the Colonial Republic. Perhaps the entire issue sprung from the current admiral's mind? Then again - it is of no importance right now. What matters is that, if your claims are true, hostilities may cease - at least with your particular group.

On the other hand, i'm intrigued by this situation. Of course i have a few of my own theories, but they are pure speculation - hence i would like to ask you for details, if not to satisfy my curiosity, at least in order to shed some light over the circumstances. Maybe the Republic may somehow be of assistance...

We'll keep in touch.
Signed, Aidan White.

Konnichiwa White-san.

As for now, we do not deem it wise to share the exact reasons of our struggle. I think it could even be dangerous to involve foreign groups into this in its nature so very internal conflict.
Especially when that foreign group was in open hostilities with the Kusari Republic. No offense.

We are a proud people, however we're not as ignorant as to deny that our goal will be difficult to achieve without help. If you prove that your intentions are pure you may gain our trust and we might tell you more.

May you be swift as a coursing river.

Mister Ishikawa.

Your position is understandable - and i admit i am suspicious of you as well, yet that is of less importance now. Currently my attention is required for other matters, though if you may wish so, i can send one of my agents to meet with you or your men and have a face to face discussion.

Of course, for the moment, this is the best either of our groups can do, since trust needs to be gained. I imagine we'll see how it goes.

Signed, Aidan White.

Colonials.

Please accept my apologies for not having personally replied to this transmission earlier.
I however see Ishikawa-san honourably carried out this task.

First, i would like you to fully understand Kusari stance with your kind.
In the past, the Colonials decided to rise against the Kusari Empire. Twice.

They were bold enough to send raiding strike groups right into New Tokyo system.
While your organization seems to follow different objectives right now, the behaviour your kind showed in the past didn't encourage us to treat you respectfully.

As for my division?
We have enough enemies to care about at the moment. We don't need to make new ones.

Concerning the reasons of our current position, as Ishikawa-san stated, we are not ready to share them with people we aren't certain to be worthy of our trust.

As caricatural as it may sound however, we are fighting against an evil that could endanger all the inhabitants of the House of Kusari and its close borders.

I cannot take the risk to invite one of your men to our fleet location. I will instead have two skilled officers ready to violate the blockade Naval Forces put in place in the West quadrant, in the event you wish talks to happen between our two sides.

Shall you remain true to your ideals.

Admiral,

I should mention that the current... stance between the Colonials and the forces of Kusari is not something we wish for. Then again - the repeatedly troublesome actions of the Hogosha, as well as some of the KNF officers who seemed more than eager to cling to old beliefs, lead us to this situation.

Still - there is always room for better, so if you wish for our two parties to speak - we may arrange a time and place for our representatives to meet. It's about time some words would be exchanged instead of gunfire...
I'll have one of my agents get to you on a different channel and the details can be decided.

Have a pleasant day.

Signed, Aidan White.

A wing will be moving to the Taus in a couple of hours.
In order to avoid the hire of the Naval Forces, i'd advise your forces to not directly assist my men.

Consider the rendez-vous point to be in the Oxygen cloud inside Tau 29.

Colonials,

It appears the talks you had with Ishikawa-san were fruitful, despite the behaviour of his escort.
I would have liked to send someone displaying better diplomacy skills, but we are rather short in personnel.

That said, our fleet is indeed in need of some supplies. Fuel is the most critical.
If your organization indeed wishes to support us, i'd advise you to not attempt to enter in Kusari using the West borders, namely Kyushu system. Those are closely guarded by the Naval Forces.
A detour via the house of Liberty might be safer, granted your kind is maintaining good relations with this house.

In return, i do confirm we are ready to share our intel with you.

I shall await your decision to organize from our side a common operation with your men.

Shall you remain true to your ideals.
