From: Vice Admiral Simon Marshall
To: 522nd Battle group

Gentlemen, this is no letter of congratulations or applause so do not sit comfortably. You are fully aware of our situation regarding Rheinland and the hostilities between us yet you insisted on traveling to the orbit of New Berlin, unauthorized, with capital ships and fighters? This is totally and utterly unacceptable. It would not have been nearly half as bad if we hadn't been informed it was a reconnaissance mission by your “marine battle group” to scout out the system only to find out you marched in with a Liberty cruiser and then broke comm silence with insults and abuse. We are closer to war than we have ever been because of your totally idiotic actions.

This is therefore an official declaration that the 522nd marine battle group is no longer affiliated with Liberty. You are hereby banned from entering Libertonian space. You shall be allowed to live as long as you do not attempt to re-enter Liberty or engage in any further actions towards either Rheinland or ourselves. Any breach of these conditions will result in the hunting down and destruction of your battle group. Your last orders are to leave for the border worlds and follow the conditions outlined above, a response is not needed.

Good luck gentlemen.

Marshall out.

----------------------------

Unauthorized were they? Unaffiliated as well? And banned all together? ... Well, I'm wondering if I should be surprised or simply disgusted that Liberty let these idiots even think of giving them access codes to the Bering jumpgate, let alone letting them fly in the first place.

Either way, it seems whoever the hell was flying those vessels are the time were out to start forms of hostilities between the houses of Rheinland and Liberty. And it is for that reason why the act will be ignored all together. Any stupid pilot that really believes he can start a war through faking his identification and flying through our space should truly be shot for lack of intelligence.

We'll ignore this fact for the time being, as it's quite obvious their intentions were dishonorable and hostile out to start a full blown war between our two houses. We may be strict, but we aren't stupid, we can easily tell when their actions were completely worthless and would have no effect what so ever.

Moving on... Keep the unauthorized and independent pilots clear of our borders, we'll be doing the same. Lets keep it that way shall we?

This is General Hammond, in overall command of the 522nd Marine Battlegroup.
I must express my concern regarding the actions taken to Exile the 522nd and its escort wings from Liberty. We have always remained loyal to Liberty, performing our duties properly, and as a reward for our valorous and gallant efforts we are labeled traitors and exiled. The 522nd will leave Liberty, but the shameful act you have commited today will forever haunt House Liberty. Good day, gentlemen.

To Vice Admiral Simon Marshall from the Executive Officer of Nova Squadron. Dear Admiral,
I write today in response to your action of banning the 522nd Marine Battlegroup from Liberty and the incident in Rheinland Space. No doubt by now, you have reviewed the video logs transmitted by our "Recon Agents" dispatched to the region. I am sure you have seen the breach of Standard Operating Procedure; and the Liberty Cruiser; While we cannot say for certain, I share your concern that we have an unfortunate scenario taking place. However, I take exception to your assertion we were warned this was a possibility.

However the fact of the matter is; You have exiled the whole of the 522nd for the acts of several Pilots. A bit of a change in Standard Operating Procedure itself isn't it? I know that your Navy has enjoyed a high degree of freedom with very little scrutiny in the past few years.
Perhaps the Navy should disband altogether once one of your men commits a similar act?

Oh, and we are keeping the Ships.

In a recent press conference, Deputy Chief of Police Matt Myers is quoted as stating:

I have been informed of the 522nd debacle by the Navy, who have told me that a 522nd Cruiser and 2 Raven Claws were captured be dissident Northern Admirality Loyalists, who sought to incite a war with Rheinland forces. They were captured by the LPI after their little stunts and subsequent return to Liberty space, and now sit in the maximum-security portion of Huntsville, awaiting transfer to a more secure LSF location.

You have exactly twenty four hours starting from the time of this transmission to leave Liberty. Failure to do so will result in the destruction of your ships. You have been warned.

Sir, are you condeming to actions of all the members of the 522nd BG for the over zealousness of only a few of its members? Only being a ensign in the 522nd i have many years of Navy and army experience, i've seen SA/LSF/LPI make there fair share of stupid actions which lead to other thing e.g SA in the Sigmas, LPI asking for Cardamine in system comms, and LSF, ok LSF are ok, so far atleast someone is doing their job right.

So i put it to you now, why take such a final action against are men when others have made mistakes alone the same lines? I will of course follow the orders of thoughs above me but i feel the 522nd have taken a bigger blow for what they have done than what any other Liberty force would have taken.

Identification confirmed, Liberty Army Command.

Greetings admiral.

Might I suggest, we simply relieve from duty whoever were the responsibles of these acts. As it is, I'd hate the Liberty forces to be more divided than it is at this moment.

Thank you.

General Isabelle Kaitlynn, out.

Terribly sorry, but we're leaving. With the ships. No mention was made of a requirement to leave them, and so they will not be. Your standing last orders are for us to exit Liberty space, not leave the ships. They will be shipped back to you once we aquire new ones, as a gesture of good faith on our side. Nothing more to say here, as you are no longer our commanders; you said as much yourself.

Mad Dog, I hereby order you to move your ship to Manchester, and await further orders. That is all.

Hammond Out.
