So, by winning a training Connecticut simulator, I got a free Nomad Power Cell. May I ask you LSF, that the power cell will be used as an R&D item. I hereby exchange the power cell to your R&D department for 50 million credits, or varies if you don't want to pay.

Good day, Miss Sanders

My name is Norman O'Connor, and I have been assigned to process your message. First of all, I appreciate that you turned to us with the offer of yours. Items like the one in your possession can be quite dangerous, when not handled properly. As per Section 1, Paragraph 1 of the Liberty Laws, such items are usually delivered to a safe and secure destination upon confiscation.

However, the very same Section and Paragraph also indicate (albeit indirectly) that the items like the one you possess should be handled exclusively by the Primary Fleets of the Liberty forces. I do understand that under the circumstances you did what had to be done. But your further actions are on the verge of violating the Laws of Liberty. Yes, I mean asking us for 50 million credits instead of doing your duty and handing the item in question over either to your superiors or to the LSF. At the very least you could have requested a special storage module for it.

Now, I do hope that what you've done was due to your unawareness of standard procedures of dealing with items of this kind. That is the reason why this message has not been forwarded to the Liberty Navy Primary Fleet or to the Liberty Security Force Directorate. There is no need to kick up a fuss in the high ups because of a misunderstanding.

So, we've covered that part, hopefully. Now, to your actual proposal. Of course, there are bonuses for those officers of the Liberty Armed Forces who retrieve something like the item of yours and hand those items in. Determining the size of the bonus is beyond my jurisdiction, so someone else would have to attend to that part, should it come to this. Of course, RD&A specialists would have to look at the item first to evaluate it.

What I'm wondering about is what you meant under "or varies". I have a question: is there some sort of non-monetary reward you'd expect from us, along from credits? Or did you mean something else? I'll be waiting for your reply.

Have a good day.

Ok, that power cell should be in a safe and secure base. I am sorry for the credit one, but I'm sure I can hand the power cell to you, moving it into a research base. So the size of the bonus is unknown. I also announced Primary fleet [LN] officers that if there's any available, I can handle the power cell to said officer.

After meeting a primary fleet gunboat [LN]LNS-Chico, I decided to give the power cell to its ship's captain for possible research. So I no longer have it.
