All Junkers are advised to be on guard for Halberd of Death and Takao Sasaki. They are hunting the Junker Congress.
Halberd engaged me outside Yangi. After shooting for a while, and expneding most of his bots and bats he put the burn on. Here's a great shot of his hind quarters with my CD's chasing him.

Then he came back, re engaged and disrupted a trade deal between myself and the Outcasts with a supernova. My ship can be repaired, but the Outcast vessel's cargo was lost. I'll let them deal with that.
Next pilot Newsun arrived and chased him down nearly destroying his vessel until he docked on a nearby station. While Newsun was waiting for him to come out, Takao showed up and blindsided him without any warning.
Now their little secret is out and they shouldn't be able to sneak up on anyone. Be on guard Junkers.

Arbiter and Members,
I for one think we should accept the aid of Jamie Ryans and any other freelancer that offers his or her services in this matter.
Many of us are not combat pilots or are still in training. Our bases are spread out and our business takes us all over the sector; we cannot be everywhere at once. Working with freelancers may be our best shot until a permanent solution to this problem has been reached.
I will, of course, leave such negotiations with freelancers to more senior members of the Congress. But I am more than happy to contribute funds to the Congress to help deal with this situation.

My studies and reports from skirmishes, including a nearly-successful ambush on the Caveat Emptor herself have turned up three names:
Halberd.of.Death
- Mercenary
- Taiidan Bomber
- Favors Corsair-produced 'Cid' pulse cannons
Takeo_Sasaki
- GMG-sponsored Mercenary
- Taiidan Bomber
- Compiled prototype weaponry including Razor and Supernova Antimatter Cannons.
These two work in tandem for a 1-2 punch and strike sans prior warning, relying on the element of surprise.
The.Mighty.Quinn
- Yet another bomber
- Will flee and force docking with any base he can to evade capture or termination.
Said pilots also talk in odd code, such as 'El Oh El' and 'Colon-D' when they can even be troubled to express intent.
We are also tracing sources of payment through proxy connections -- curiously, little or no funds have changed hands towards these pilots' accounts as of yet. We suggest plying our contacts, to see if these are simply not opposing interests in Kusari working incognito with hacked registration to keep their own hands clean. Enough people everywhere owe us enough favors, we should start calling them back.
Combat advice based on personal experience is to avoid engaging with large craft. They hunt our compiled capitals specifically and shy away from exposing any elements that may generate losses on their own. Don't be foolish; don't risk funds and personnel where you don't need to.
Additional advice: use the actions of these mercenaries as propaganda material -- few things are more injurous to a Kusarian than the loss of his honor. And the actions of the men they've chosen to strike at us from the shadows are extremely dishonorable indeed.
