Every time there is action on the server im either at work or away. :( ARC is not SF anymore - JnD - 05-31-2006 Lol, no such thing as friendly fire, so sorry about the bad timing while dropping them novas :P ARC is not SF anymore - wedge antilles - 05-31-2006 Ya i know how you feel about the odds dab. it's one thing when you know your playing 6 other people in clan match an you know the teams are even. Here i dont know what the rule are for a clan match. Dab do you know if game battle dose FL? ARC is not SF anymore - Dab - 05-31-2006 This isn't like Xbox or Xbox 360 games with game battles. Here we all have our own ways at doing war. AW uses guerilla tactics (annoyed the SF quite well when we were at war with them too), and strike attacks (where you get a group of people together and attack the other faction's group before they know about it, giving you an advantage. Some people say it makes war dirty *looks at Wolf* but as long as both sides don't start flaming its fine. Then there are alot of factions who set up matches in advance, taking away most possible advantages such as surprise. I call this British, or Line up and shoot, tactics. Usually ends up pretty bad for both sides and is ended with usually the only undamaged guy giving mercy kills to everyone. In my way there is the possibility of getting out with losing no more than some hull to enemy fire. At least as far as cap-ships are concerned. Also you greater numbers should be an advantage. Use it. The SF and TC used their greater numbers when they fought us, and we proved that numbers aren't everything by killing them 3 times as much as they killed us. I see it as, you can't complain about the numbers the other team has if you are the one who entered the war. Thats why I thought it stupid when Josh declared DVL in the war. He doesn't have enough members to make the sides even so in my mind he doesn't have the right to complain as he brought it upon himself. Also, Wedge don't compare this the MA2. Completely different games, can't really be compared. ARC is not SF anymore - Fellow Hoodlum - 05-31-2006 Greater numbers Dab ... where did you learn to count ? The TC were lucky if Gezza and I were there. But, another war you have to brag about ... hoodlum :P ARC is not SF anymore - Dab - 05-31-2006 You did have greater numbers in the Tau-37 fight. 3v6 sometimes 3v7 before missingno left. The Tau-31 battle was barely uneven only 3v4. In this war there are much higher amounts of AW than CUFF and DVL. ARC is not SF anymore - Fellow Hoodlum - 05-31-2006 I was only talking about TC though, Dab. Not the rest ... I'll stick up for my old boys as Gezza and I are the only two left .... Hoodlum  |
