How often would a Luxury Liner go through asteroid fields?
Not sure how the anti-cheat setup works but it knows when you are in formation with someone. Though that could be simply the speed limit raised to 450 or so. Just an idea instead of having to size down everything for tradelanes. Good point about the cheat system though.

now you might say that flying along the tradelane paths would be a solution but that's impossible, because ships traveling along the tradelanes will hit you and send you careening into the hard rocks...

I've flown a Talarca through Bering easily enough. Not the same I know but it's what you get with having a big ship. Have to expect it to happen really.
