Fhloston Paradise - Curios - 04-10-2010 Yea, and its a nice idea to use more freelancer textures that are already existed. Here is alot of them, really. Fhloston Paradise - Fhloston Paradise - 04-10-2010 I really don't understand. If there is no chance of imports happening anymore, then what's my incentive to heavily modify the model to begin with? :s @ Curios, honestly you'd be surprised. In that render there are only three textures. A bump texture, and two windows textures.:)(all of them are under 400x400.:D Fhloston Paradise - Akura - 04-10-2010 ' Wrote:I really don't understand. Technically wouldn't be an import. Fhloston Paradise - Fhloston Paradise - 04-10-2010 oh, I think I get it. If it's a ship from a series or programme it isn't imported into the game (copyright?) If it's significantly different it has a chance? Hmmm, if that's the case, I can try. I've already changed the bridge section and stern already, mind you. But I can see what I can do. Forgive me, I'm a noob to freelancer, let alone the discovery mod. Fhloston Paradise - Akura - 04-10-2010 Nah it's fine, just make it so it isn't directly the same ship. Change parts of the nose to be longer or rounder, add parts to it, hit it with a hammer a few times. ^_^ Fhloston Paradise - Fhloston Paradise - 04-10-2010 lol, well i think the "exhaust pipes" on the original are fugly, so I can try something else there. Perhaps a nice landing bay for smaller civilian transports?:D I suppose the class name "Fhloston" at this point would be a no no, too? Buggerbitchbum.:P Fhloston Paradise - Fhloston Paradise - 04-11-2010 I'm not home atm, to actually model my thoughts out, but I was thinking that i could place the engines at the base of the circular structures, at the stern, with protective "grills" as it were to protect the base of the ship from the intense heat. where the gap is that was originally intended for the "exhaust pipes". I was thinking of a docking bay for civilian transports, in the space, slightly dropping down and jutting out. I think that would differ it enough from the films version adequately enough "on paper" at least?:) Fhloston Paradise - pipishere - 04-12-2010 Looks great and i look forward to seeing what the "altered" version looks like. :) Fhloston Paradise - Sabre120 - 04-14-2010 Like the ship design, but alas as everyone else has pointed out imports are a no no now. I can't wait till they get those hideous Homeworld ships out! Fhloston Paradise - Sprolf - 04-14-2010 Oddly enough, it was remarked a while back that the Luxury Liner here looks like the Fhloston... |
