You should secure your transmissions. I am disturbed when I read reports about supposed deals made to the Corsairs by TAZ. You can rest assured that so long as I sit in the Ambassador's office that no such deals will be made.

The names of some 800 Zoners are in here, all dead from the recent attacks. I signed each and every death certificate and was present for a good many of the burials. They teach you a great many things of tragedy in medical school and how to face a family to explain the death of a loved one but nothing prepared me for this folder. I keep it with me as a reminder. I was even asked to participate in negotiations with the Corsairs, something I flat out declined. If forced to attend, I will sit without word.
As for the presence of Med Force One, I couldn't do nothing for those on station. Help was needed and it has been provided. I get a bit upset when some may see it as a smoke screen for some other reason...not you, of course. In fact, if you don't want my hospital there, I will have it moved out but something tells me you don't.

Hello Doc,
I think there is some misunderstanding here. I never said you had a deal. Rachael Ericson did. I did say however that it would be sad if that was the case. As you are well aware and I can tell by your message, that would seriously undercut any peace we can offer them. I am to meet with Gabriel Caudill of OSI as soon as he arrives onboard Freeport 9.
You are well respected Ambassador, if you say there is no agreement with Corsairs I believe you, but let me say this, I know that if the zoner resistance were to see any zoner ship let alone a ship belonging to TAZ in Gamma, heading toward a Gamma jumphole, or even exiting one it may not end up pretty. I have no control over them you see, but I would hazard a guess it would make you just as upset if your ships were aiding the enemy as well as any other zoner ship.
I want your ship here. Make no mistake about that. We need every bit of help Med Force One can give us and more, but we need your wisdom in this matter also. I will not ask you to sit in on the negotiations, however, would you at least meet us in the cafeteria so Dankien, Silvan, and I can gain your insight into this matter?
I only know bits and pieces of why this happened. Most of it came from a man named Timothy Rhyme, the captain of the Invisible Hand, so I would like to hear your side......the zoner side.
