The two Batman games (Arkham Asylum and the other one) are awesome too.
Two Worlds 2 for a good hack 'n' slash / looter RPG with nonsense story and silly men with long blonde hair.
And if you have a console nothing beats Red Dead Redemption - gotta love that lasso!

Some of the games that I played and liked and that has 3rd person view. They are mostly action - rpg - sandbox.

The beginning is, yeah. And the death scenes when you screw up...haha, poor Isaac.
