BHG cap-weapons concept - Teknikal - 07-09-2008 Very nice although my concern is wouldn't that make small ships a lot easier to shoot down and a lot of BHG players already think their huge capships are for shooting at small fighters etc. If it's just an effect I'm cool with it but I'm thinking it gives them double the chance of getting a hit. BHG cap-weapons concept - X-Lancer - 07-09-2008 great..but not the stats....BHG's gun should not do that much damage..(look at their lvl 9 gun for fighter..)BHG perfer faster projectile speed but smaller damage... IMO their gun should have the stats like the Kusaris BS turret we have now...smaller damage..faster speed..same for Cruiser turret...and keep the old effect BTW..it looks great..the new effect it's more like the shell from flak turret... PS: Liberty should get 2 barrel Gun..same for The Order..Rhienland should have theirs multi-barrel turret back and their awsome weapon effect..BHG should not have something bigger than a Cruiser IMO.(they are not big military that kind of faction..no need for Battleship..may be Battlecruiser..because they do not have their own economic system to build Battleship and keep them "alive") BHG cap-weapons concept - Athenian - 07-09-2008 Thread hijack alert. Hey guys, everyone likes to feel special: the BHers want to have unique BHer weapons and someone has gone to the trouble of designing them, someone who obviously enjoys the game so much that he is prepared to go to this trouble. You want them for the other factions, ask him nicely or learn to do yourself. If they have TWICE the chance of hitting then obviously the s*&^ will hit the fan and they'll be adjusted. But look at all the posts about how appreciative people are simply of the cool effect. Not one person posted saying "yeah this will be great for killing all the order pilots". And take the tired "BHers dont Rp/shouldnt be in capships/should all be made fly starfliers" debate elsewhere - it's getting kind of weak hearing the same people trample out the same tired routine without contributing a SINGLE thing to a possible future for RP. I suspect there must be a group of BHers out there in capships behaving like a military but they don't speak for us. The RP in Omi Minor is as bad as NY sometimes so don't get me started. Please quit holding people to a standard so obviously prejudiced by a few bad experiences of your own. Now stay on the topic or go complain elsewhere. Honestly I'm sure some of you saw BHG in the title and decided to air your grievances there. Nice sound effect. I agree the effects are nice but there is probably a good reason why Igiss hasn't used the double turrets before as they have always been there. As Jinx pointed out the Bounty Hunters should be 2nd in line as far as advanced technology because of the war/race with the order going after the Nomad tech. Currently BH have some of the weakest ships here so I really dont understand why people are bitching so much. Here are some numbers for you to chew on, after this hopefully we can get back on topic. BH Battleship - 1 step above the lightest armored battleship in the game. Weakest is the Osiris. BOTH of these ships should get a boost in armor value (they are supposed to be the most advanced, thus making use of more composite / different mixture of alloyed metals. BH Gunship, less armor and manuverability then an Armored Transport. Now then, as far as the weapons. I agree that they should be only at Capetown station.
