I thought Omicron Minor was the most useless system in the mod...wouldn't hurt anyone to blow that, would it?...

Baffin isn't useless and it's a faction system. You want to call it useless, watch the horde of Cardi/Slave traders going through, or the large amount of Zoners there.
This idea is, to put it bluntly, horrible. Stars don't go randomly Nova. The comment that we don't care about physics in the first post was complete crap. We do car about physics. However, some things we just can't change. It was there when the game was vanilla. Other things we can change, but it'd ruin gameplay to an extent.
When we do add stuff to the mod, we do so in the most logical, reasoned, and physically-possible way we can.
Furthermore.. Deleting Omicron Gamma? Are you insane? It's the Corsair homeworld. Delete that and the Corsair faction would be useless, not to mention the massive discontent from the Corsair players.
And lastly, you're comment that removing a JH doesnt affect commodity balance.. Wrong. Very wrong in fact. Remove the Coronado-Baffin JH and you seriously affect the Cardi/Slave trade. Remove the Kappa-Delta JH and you seriously harm a ton of routes. There are a lot of examples of this. Removing JHs does serious damage to trade routes, while adding JHs can seriously help them. Anything that makes a route longer or shorter will affect trade.
