It seems a Freelancer aboard a Bustard is showing interest in affiliating with our fleet to aid us by providing the fleet with useful jump coordinates for any system that might interest us. Although I'll have to admit our meeting was quite subtle, he seemed like the trustworthy type at least for the time being.
His ship goes by the identifier SR-45, fully equipped with the necessary tools to survey scan systems and complete a jump to hyperspace. No weaponry systems of any sort were picked up by our scanners on board the Bustard-class.
He seemed to be interested in building and maintaining an installation in Liberty to help store his coordinates, I informed him he'd have to go through official Governmental channels to achieve that. It was then that he mentioned working for the Fifth Fleet and asked me to inform the High Command that he will be sending a communication our way soon.

On response to the distress call from commander Nelson, i have manned my strike craft and hastily made my way to Norfolk shipyard - to promptly identify a communist logistical vessel in possession of substainial amount of contraband, and nigh on time for the combat to erupt. Transport crew lacked equipment and experience to withstand sustained fire of a duet of strike craft or escape their peril and was promptly disabled with it's cargo partially repossessed, but destroyed for the most part. After observing the area for a little longer, i have promptly returned to Norfolk, remaining on standby for more incrusions.

Earlier today a meeting took place in Coronado between myself, Fleet Admiral Cleveland and Captain Hawkins of the Order's Section 8. I will get into some details regarding Captain Hawkins in order to bring you up to date.
Hawkins is the commanding officer of the Unto Nightfall, a Resheph-class reconnaissance cruiser belonging to the Order. The Unto Nightfall is a ship the Akhetaten has shared many moments with as it was sighted at Omicron Nu multiple times along with Overwatch strike forces, back at the time when the Akhetaten was not part of the Fifth Fleet. We have fought side by side with Captain Hawkins multiple times against common enemies of the Order and the Republic and she has proven to be a valuable asset to us over time.
Slowly moving on towards the present, with our presence in Coronado spiking, it seems that the Unto Nightfall has been deployed at Coronado, now operating in the Independent worlds that surround Liberty while the Section 8 generally operates within Liberty as well. The purpose of their deployment is to monitor and gather intelligence on Nomad and Auxesian forces that are sighted around the neighboring systems.
Captains Hawkins helped the Akhetaten just a few days ago when we were engaged by a battlecruiser belonging to the Insurgency as well as by two Auxesian snubcraft. The cruiser uncloaked in the vicinity and helped keep the snubcraft off of us, giving us the ability to successfully take down the battlecruiser. Unfortunately, the outcome of that engagement was outside Hawkins' control as a few Coalition bombers joined the Auxesians after a couple of minutes, managing to successfully disable the Akhetaten. Our backup that arrived moments later helped tow us back to Norfolk for repairs. I will be attaching the relevant information on this incident that I recorded during entry twenty of my Captains logs below.
About time I recorded this, there's a number of things I need to log. Lets start from the simpler ones; Coronado.
The place is a mess, every time the Akhetaten has to fly to the Yellowstone to report the patrol results I get a feeling that we might not come back from this hell-hole of a system. This time, we had the Insurgency, Auxesia and the Coalition out there to ruin our day. The Insurgency battlecruiser was initially supported by an Auxesian bomber and a fighter while the Akhetaten was assisted by an LSF bomber. Shortly after the engagement begun, Captain Hawkins on board he Unto Nightfall, the known Order recon cruiser, decloaked in our vicinity and engaged the Auxesian snubcraft in our defense.
The LSF agent was surprised by this action, something that will be further discussed on later down this log. I, on the other hand, can't say I was as surprised as the agent. Captain Hawkins along with other operatives working for the Order have shown no hostilities towards the Liberty Navy the past few months after the discovery of Omicron Nu.
The Nightfall did a good job keeping the hostile snubcraft off of us and we managed to take down the battlecruiser, suffering immense damage while doing so. The two Auxesians were backed up by a third bomber a few minutes later along with a small wing of Coalition bombers. In the end, Captain Hawkins made the right move to re-cloak and leave the vicinity as it was a lost fight. Our backup didn't arrive in time and the Akhetaten ended up disabled for a few minutes before we got towed back to Norfolk for repairs.
With that being said, and Captain Hawkins' background understood, we finally arrive to today's events. The meeting that took place had the purpose of a possible cooperation between the Fifth Fleet and the Section 8. This cooperation involves around two major points; Section 8 relaying all intel regarding Auxesian moves directly to me, while I will be relaying all intel regarding Nomad presence in Liberty directly to them. Fleet Admiral Cleveland viewed this cooperation as something that could be fruitful to Liberty and three of us came to an agreement, the terms of which are attached below.
- Intelligence gathered by Section 8 units on Auxesian forces, movements, and relations will be filtered and forwarded to Commodore Christopher Edwards, Fifth Fleet, on a secure channel.
- Intelligence gathered by the LNS Akhetaten on Nomad forces, movements, and relations within Libertonian space and other relevant systems will be forwarded to Captain Catherine Hawkins, Section 8, on a secure channel.
- Section 8 units will assist the LNS Akhetaten in combat against Auxesian and Nomad forces as well as in other emergencies where discretion can be maintained.
- The LNS Akhetaten will assist Section 8 units in combat against Auxesian and Nomad forces as well as in other emergencies where discretion can be maintained.
- Section 8 receives permission to operate within Liberty without hindrance by Fifth Fleet elements. The Fifth Fleet does not take any responsibility for actions that may follow if Section 8 forces are caught by other Law Enforcement entities.
The above terms are to be kept in mind at all times by any pilots belonging to Fifth. The Admiralty is responsible to further forward these terms to the rest of the Fleet to assure that they aren't violated. Any information exchanges between Section 8 and the Fifth Fleet will be done at Hawkins and my own discretion, however, the Admiralty will be informed for anything that I consider important enough to require it's approval.
Provided the Akhetaten's increased presence in Coronado for the time being and for the foreseeable future, Fleet Admiral Cleveland has put me in charge of all diplomatic relations between the Fifth Fleet and Section 8. It would be highly optimal if the above terms weren't violated by any means, but if they do end up being violated I would like to be informed so I can discuss the matter with Captain Hawkins. A secure network has already been established by Section 8 between me and Hawkins, making trading of information easy for both sides.
Captain Hawkins has forwarded a list of Section 8 vessels that receive the treatment agreed to in the above terms. I am attaching this list now. For any updates to this list, I will be letting you know through future reports.

Several days ago, an agreement was done with a specific organization, the so-called Section Eight. All you need to know for now is that they are not our enemies. All information about nomads within Liberty and its borders has to be forwarded to Commodore Edwards, without exception. In exchange for said information, we are getting info about Auxesian movement within the independent worlds and the borders of Liberty. Furthermore, Section Eight units are NOT to be engaged within Liberty or its borders. If a ship is caught by other law enforcement, the Fifth Fleet will not interfere. I will attach a list of ships that are part of said Section. If information is getting leaked to the public or other law enforcement, I will personally handle the discharge of the person in violation of our code. Remember, the Order is not our enemy.

The matter I'm bringing forward to you today is of utmost importance and is regarding the relations between Auxesia and the Nomads. For a long time now, we've heard rumors that the Auxesians have been sighted cooperating and allying with Nomad forces. However, with no proof being provided of the above allegations, we were unable to know if those rumors were true.
For the better or for the worst, the above fact has now changed. Captain Hawkins has provided me with intelligence pointing to these rumors being absolutely true. The intel consists of a lone sighting of a large Nomad warform of Ish'tar class displaying no hostility towards a number of Auxesia vessels that were in the vicinity.
Unfortunately for us and for the safety of Liberty, this brings Auxesia to be a much bigger threat than what we initially thought. You will find attached visual footage of the incident pre-described below as provided to me by Captain Hawkins.

The individual known as 'Rusty Old Screw' is a Freelancer flying a Camara-class freighter with respectable armaments and armor. I am recording this report to let you know that he has crossed the line of what's acceptable and forgivable. Earlier today I came across this individual at Manhattan's defense grid along with a few more Freelancers. The suspect continued to harass another Freelancer before I asked him to leave the vicinity immediately due to causing a public disturbance.
Not only did he refuse this direct order, but he also engaged the Freelancer that he was previously harassing. Without much second thought, I ordered gunnery to lock on that flying pest and shoot him down first chance they get. Unfortunately, the Camara he was flying turned out to be a rather maneuverable rust-bucket and we were unable to take him down but we made sure the other people in the vicinity weren't hurt.
That was until two operatives of the Fourty Sixth fleet arrived and chased the suspect until he evacuated the immediate area.
With all of the above being said, I have a message towards Command; I am requesting permission to forward evidence of this interaction with the Chief of the Liberty Police Incorporated along with a brief explanation of what took place so that the suspect can face further consequences and be made an example of what not to do.

Today started out just like any other day out in Omicron Nu; calm, silent and uneventful. At some point during our patrol we found a Freelancer stranded out in space, claiming to have suffered various accidents that brought his ship to this state. After meeting up with Edison King, Logan Wells and Adam Viking of the First Fleet along with an LSF vessel, we escorted the Freelancer to Planet Houston, Texas in order to be treated.
After that, we headed back out to Omicron Nu, none of us expecting what was to come. Some nonsensical operative of the Core nicknamed "Inspector" showed up, undocking from the Oregon Surveyor and started questioning us on why we were trespassing on Core space. Having met that 'Inspector' already back when Nu was first discovered, I told everyone to just ignore him and move on, which is effectively what we did.
At around the same time and for a good while, an unknown contact started chatting with us over local communications. We were unable to identify the ship and the woman speaking was claiming that she couldn't see any of us, something we later on found out to be a lie.
Eventually, hell broke loose in Omicron Nu as an Outcast Battlecruiser showed up and engaged the First Fleet's fightercraft and the LSF units. The Akhetaten moved in to assist, as we did so however the same woman called out to us and recommended that we should not engage or we will regret this. It turned out that the woman we were speaking to all this time was Lauren La'Row and the ship she was flying was the RNS-Charente. We were immediately engaged by the Valor as well as by another known infected ship, the Vatan. Supporting them was an unknown ship, Askunu, however the person speaking, "Krumai" is another known nomad sympathizer.
As if it couldn't get any worse than that, the Outcast Battlecruiser MNS-Gran completely ignored the infectees and engaged us along with the Core operative that was there, Force!Judicator. After some research, I found out that the 'Force' is a new organization around the Core. Judicator as well us Inspector made it fairly clear on our earlier interaction that the Core Force does not want to be on Liberty's good side, I suggest action to be taken against this.
Communication logs of the above described events will be attached below. With all that being said I have yet another message to Command; I am requesting permission to contact the Core Force about the events surrounding this event to see what they have to say about the actions of their operative.

I have successfully contacted the Core Force about the latest incidents in Omicron Nu. I was unsuccessful, however, in showing them that allying with known Nomad supporters and Outcasts against the Republic's forces is something we will not tolerate. Their representative was stubborn enough to not accept that Omicron Nu is directly bordering Virginia and is a system within the Republic's zone of operations and kept repeating that any Liberty forces within the system should at all times abide by the Core laws.
The Core Force's behavior is unacceptable and the Government needs to be informed of this so that the necessary steps are taken to make sure that those who turn against the Republic are punished. I can contact the Government myself, should you require me to. I'll be awaiting further instructions.
