I think they are trying to make it abundantly clear that if you make it too hard to find by not putting it in the rules, people aren't going to see it. If its a rule, it needs added to the rules thread. If its not, thats just asking for it to be broken. And in this case, ignorance could be an excuse as it never says anywhere that KILLING a trader is against the rules. Only pirating. They can't follow a rule if its so hidden in the 50,000+ posts of the forums to make finding it difficult, let alone knowing they need to find it in the first place.

It was already clear. I've said the same thing myself in a quite more polite way at the beginning of this thread. No need to repeat it 100 times more unless you think that all the people are a buch of brainless beings (apart from the two that, like 2-years old childs, continuosly repeat the mantra "it is not in the server rules thread... it is not in the server rules thread... it is not in the server rules thread")!!! Came on!

(probably a dumb question, but oh well...) The "no pirating in capships" means no pirating real people, right? Using a cruiser to blow cargo pods off NPC trains is fine?

Yap. It's not against the rules. Rules are designed to protect the fun of both corsairs and traders. But if real people are not involved, no harm to others' fun.
