I want to reiterate something from some time ago dealing with our so called brothers in Gallia. Our policies have not changed, but since they are making their presence more and more known in Sirius I want to remind everyone of our policy. We have no official dealings with the Junkers in Gallia. If they want to talk any kind of deals or politics refer them to Arbiter Trenton or myself. Other than that we are to have no dealings with them. Any Junkers that wish to leave Gallia and join our ranks will be welcomed. However, if their intention is to dock on our bases and return to Gallia then their access to our bases should be denied.

With all due respect I would like to ask for a clarification on this policy regarding Gallia. It seems to be a contradiction of the Congress Mission Statement.

I have been piloting my own freighter, El.Coqui, for a while now. I travel a lot. Usually transporting less than legal cargo and as such I try to keep very little contact with other ships. Currently dropping a shipment of artifacts from planet Crete. I try to read the news every chance I get when docked and while checking the job board but very little is published regarding the Congress efforts to improve our political stand in Sirius. So please excuse my ignorance.

As Junkers I've faced quite a bit of abuse from <strike>Liberty</strike> goverment officials. Even been shot at by a LN vessel because I stopped to watch operations taken against Xeno scum.

I thought the Congress was here to watch over every Junker. Am I wrong ?

Are some Junkers more equals than other?

How is this policy consistent with The Congress Mission Statement and beneficial to us Junkers? Even those of us not Congressmen.

It seems we've had a little attack from Finn's friends in the Steel group. I don't know very much about them, but I aim to learn. Apparently they are not content just to rile Finn up. They want to drag the rest of us into this as well. They've opened a pretty big can this time. They not only attacked the Congress but a BPA officer who happened to be there as a witness. WyraSteel and AndySteel were involved in the attack today. I'm still waiting for confirmation, but early reports indicate they are flying bombers under bounty hunter IFF. They were also assisted by a ship called FuryVenamis. Now that we know who they are and what their intention is there is really no excuse for getting ambushed. Be mindful of your LRS at all times. No barges are to fly without a minimum or three escorts.

If anyone has anymore information about this group or about this attack please send it to me directly as soon as you possibly can.

Ok, it seems we have a few wannabe gangsters who think they are taking over the pirate trade in Liberty. They are calling themselves cpt. We’ve encountered Bugsy, Al Capone, and Lucky Luciano. They have attacked our salvage operations on multiple occasions and it’s time to show them the door.

For now, I want all of you to keep an eye out for this group. Report immediately if you see them. We are alerting all Junkers bases to be looking for them and deny them docking. I’m also going to be contacting our friends asking them to do the same.

All Congress be aware there is a new pirate group.
They have attacked two of our barges on separate occasions.
One of our guard ships located them today pirating a trader in California.
As you can see they have stolen a salvager.
We can only hope the Junker they stole it from isn't harmed.
It uses a cloaking device so acquiring it will not be easy.
If nothing else help disrupt their pirate activities.
Intel indicates they are based in Magellan.

We have a little situation brewing in Sigma 13. The GMG are in an uproar about squatters in their territory and are taking steps to deal with it. It also seems that the Hogosha are somehow involved. I was about to ask everyone to send resources to the area to help clear the Hogosha out so we can restore the peace we all love, but the GMG don’t seem to be too interested in our help. It seems they have already forgotten our recent assistance. No matter. If this is how they wish to play it than I am asking that everyone take great care when approaching or leaving Yanagi. Should any of you discover the location of this illegal base please pass it along to me, but you are all ordered to stay away from this. We will let the GMG sort out their own problems.

It appears that the location of the Hideout has been discovered. The Godfather gave us an ultimatum and a deadline of eight hours. Looks like he passed the information on before the eight hours was up because the base was attacked. Do not respond to any offers from the MOB. It is all a trick. It appears they were trying to take the blackmail money from us and rat us out at the same time. We know how to deal with this kind of treachery.

Arbiters,
On a recent trip to supply our defensive platform, La Fortaleza, I noticed there is some excess space available on the station which is not being used. I understand the base's purpose is, and will always remain, the defense of our home from invaders. However, I believe I could open and run a succesful business venture on the station without hindering it's mission. My proposal is to open a pub aboard the station for Congressmen, and those friendly to us, to have a safe place to relax and conduct business.

I'd like to convert this space:

In the haste to construct defenses the station's interior was left in spartan condition. It is my intent to invest my own funds into renovating the open areas into a lobby, state of the art internal security office, and a pub. I will have a private VIP Congress lounge and an office for administering my business.

The extra cargo bay used to facilitate the speedy construction of the base will be ideal for not only supplying my bar, it allows ample room for me to store and distribute various goods.

I plan to modify one of the docking bays to allow mooring larger vessels in order to facilitate speedy and efficient loading and unloading of transports. An advantage of having a steady flow of cargo moving in and out of La Fortaleza would be the ability for me to offer a good price on basic necessities. I'm sure the base will be easier to maintain as my customers inport such needed goods as food, oxygen, water, and Basic Alloys.
